I also can't be the only one hoping they stop with the seasonal model and simply just bring said seasons over to the eternal realm and thus have said characters be able to partake in them every time as an expanded storyline etc. I mean the world already matches your level, so why not do it have done the same with said seasonal content as well? The items are going to disappear either way... players are getting tired of doing the same thing every time, every 3 months. time, and time again. | ||

For exemple, PoE is still the "same thing" at start... you do the campaign, you map. But then you can do so many other thing and they are all rewarding, pushing, etc. Ex: I did lots of maping, juicing map etc, this league and was a bit burn out on mapping.. well I just started devling and try to get as deep as I can. It also doesn't help that this season (talking about D4 Season) is attrocius... | ||

Doing the same thing again and again isn't necessarily a problem, as long as "the same thing" is fun to do. That is basically the core concept of roguelite games. | ||

I'm not a Mario fan. Season 3 already looked less fun to me during the previews. I hate trap based dungeons and that kind of gameplay is even worse in ARPGs. I bought Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 on sale recently and I have much of the same complaints. | ||

Seems like Blizzard really dropped the ball on this game and to this day I am baffled by it. They're great at copying stuff from other games so why did they choose not to copy the best things people praise about other games and instead went with copying some of the worst things that people complain about in other games? I guess it kinda goes in line with Blizzard's attitude of "knowing better" what players want than the players themselves since the community was pretty vocal about what they want from D4 from day 1 and most of it was pretty much ignored. | ||

lol Developer’s Note: We’ve received feedback that the Seneschal does not feel powerful. The Seneschal becomes more powerful as it reaches max level, but we have noticed that many players have not had the chance to level up their Seneschal enough to experience this. We are introducing multiple changes to ensure players have more sources to earn Governing and Tuning Stones from so they can level up their Seneschal and unlock their new companion's full potential. | ||

Another patch incoming this week. Seems Blizzard is aware how bad this has become. Because it is pretty sizeable, can't remember getting more than 1 patch this size let alone 2 in less than two weeks in a season. | ||

It's only bug fix and "a bit more utility/dmg" to the robot pet. the whole dongeon mechanic is still awful and the patch won't bring ppl back. Also, that Lunar event thing only look like special shirne + cosmetic... pretty meh | ||

I don't ever expect Blizzard to evolve D4 in a similar way that PoE evolved, and it feels like PoE started with a solid base of unique mechanics (the socket/link system + currency system) and just kept evolving from there. That said, from memory it was preeeeeetty barebones for the first seasons of its existence. Most everything I've heard of D4 seems to suggest it's shitty at its core, which leaves me little faith for it to ever evolve into something worthwhile. | ||
