There is an entire part of the Diablo 4 team working on social features

I think season 2 started in mid-October and we're almost at the 3 month mark. I'm guessing season 3 will be a little delayed due to the holidays.

On the not worth discussion: I think LE and PoE are deeper games with much better long term sustainability. However D4 has an enjoyable story and can be played less hardcore and therefore more easily together. I think if the expansion leans into these aspects I'd buy one, if it's good enough at 50€ too.

If you want to play your ARPG for 35+ hours a week I don't think you play d4. But that doesn't mean that there's no market for other audiences there.

Yah, I play videogames a lot but I would consider myself less hardcore than most of you. D4 had a 30-35% exp and gold buff during the week of Thanksgiving. I came back for it and leveled a char from 1-100 in around 50 hours that week. I don't think I have even played 10 hours after that week. 60 hours per character is around my sweet spot for coming back every now and then.

Day 1 of Season 3 and already bored, besides it is a buggy mess. It's quite obvious what Blizzard is doing with this spider "robot" companion that follows players this season. It is just Blizzard testing out their Mercenary system that, 90% sure, will be in Vessel of Hatred expansion that will be revealed later this year.

I didn't touch D4 during S2 and wanted to give it another chance with S3.

I'm at around lvl 33 and I don't know what to do anymore. The robot is pretty underwhelming and the "trap dongeon" are just boring.

what's worst, 2 out of my 5 "trap dongeon", the Son of Malphas spawned and there is no way in hell I kill this and I was just running away from him. So dum...
