I want to buy/play switch but I need games. there are 2 interesting games for me (CTR nitro fueled and Diablo3), but that is not enough for me to pay 350€++. I am rather a player who just play a few game for countless hours, I don't need a campaign/story. Most games sound like you only can play the campaign.
Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey are both games without intricate campaigns, and tons of places to just explore and find stuff in huge open environments for hours and hours and hours. So while those two games are the ones I'd probably recommend to anyone getting a Switch, they also sound like what you're looking for, too.
There's also Dark Souls Remastered, and I'm a Dark Souls addict, but that's probably a good one too. All of those games have incredibly long lives and rich worlds to explore.
I’ve got all of those and really have enjoyed. Don’t quite have the time to grind games like I used to but have immensely enjoyed exploring those worlds, with that of Dark Souls being slightly more stressful!
If you intend to make use of the handheld function regularly, there’s plenty of great indie games too. I already own both Cuphead and Super Meat Boy but having a version I can take out when someone else wants the TV, or play on my lunch break is great.
It's sure to whet folks' appetites as Nintendo continues work on the sequel to BotW proper. Personally, I'm replaying the game, and discovering a whole bunch of stuff I never found in my first playthrough, including: + Show Spoiler +
you can have your inventory expanded... Sigh. I went through the whole game once being super hardcore the whole time about managing which weapons I was deciding to carry, and I didn't have to. FML.

really? the quest to start that up happens super early and the game points in that direction from the start haha

I went in fairly blind, and just went right past the necessary NPC, haha. It was also the first Zelda game I've ever actually beaten, if that helps explain things, lol.

Hey no judgments, much of that was true for me as well.

Haha, I remember being a bit intimidated by Hestu (the guy upgrading the inventory) and riding by him on my first encounter. As he wasn't following me trying to attack, unlikte the pitchfork Moblin that got the better of me once or twice or thrice before that encounter, I timidly went back and found out what he can do for ye.
i guess WWF No Mercy and Fire Pro Wrestling will never be matched... those AKI games remain the best wrestling games ever made.
For competitive PvP pro wrestling purists I'd say "Natsume Championship Wrestling" is the best option.
I'd say Nintendo Ice Hockey and Natsume Championship Wrestling are two of the best PvP experiences on the Switch and they're both free when you get Nintendo Online.
Some thoughts on Super Mario 64 for Nintendo Switch (from the Super Mario 3-D All Stars game):
The game is absolutely beautiful (although I've been playing it on this high level of resolution for quite a while now, thanks to the various adapters/upscalers I've been using for the old N64 console). That being said, I'm disappointed with two major components. The less important component is that this Switch version isn't based on the North American version (there isn't even an option to switch to it), so there are some minor gameplay changes (cameras are very weird/inverted; sometimes music overlaps with other music, especially when a star emerges or is collected; sometimes the in-game sounds are different; etc.). These are things I can deal with reasonably well, although the camera is particularly annoying to adapt to, especially when overcoming the muscle memory of what worked well with my old N64 version.
The more important component, which is really conflicting with the quality of life, is the controls. The controls are absolutely awful, when ported to the Switch pro-controller and joy-cons. I'm so glad I was first spoiled with using the original N64 controllers to learn just how great the controls could potentially be, because handling Super Mario 64 on the Switch is a mess with the new controls. Maybe it's because I've spent hundreds of hours playing this game on N64 and so I'm biased to having most buttons serve an important and relevant function, but the lack of an original Z button + the fact that every single button has an adjacent redundant button + having the camera toggles *below* the buttons instead of where the C-buttons used to be + having shoulder buttons that either act as more camera changes or they act as ineffective Z-replacements (and mistaking the camera for a ground-pound/crouch, and vice-versa, is a huge deal when moving quickly through the game) = a disaster for me. I'll just find a way to connect my old N64 controllers (or my USB N64 controllers) to the Switch and play using an original controller, I guess. This probably wont be as serious an issue for players who haven't sunk thousands and thousands of hours into N64 as their primary console, but for me it's a big deal.
Super Mario 3-D All Stars also has Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy, which I probably won't be as hypercritical over, as I've never played either before (so I have no expectations of what the controls should or shouldn't be). I just hope that the controls are reasonably intuitive and that half the buttons aren't just repeats.
Edit: Just hooked up my N64 controller to the Switch and apparently the N64 controller's buttons are remapped and can't be changed. The B button jumps just like the A button (Mario can't attack/punch/kick anymore). What a joke. At least the pro-controller for the Switch has some remappings to make things slightly more bearable.
Double Edit: Speedrunners shitting on the game is validating for me too lol.
I've been playing Steam Tactics recently - a pretty straightforward, air/space-based, tactical RPG based around upgrades, weapon triangles / resistance, and positioning - and it's reasonably addictive and fun. Only $10 too.
