But we have Australia... Agree 100%. (Well, except that we do have one Native American civ...) But yeah. Strange to omit the actual heavyweights. I can take or leave Dutch, but leaving out the Persians, Ottomans, Mongols, and Babylonians just seems strange. I also miss Mali.
Why are the Babylonians heavyweights? Weren't they at their biggest a city state with like 7 tributaries? Unless you mean the Neo-Babylonians in the Chaldean Era?
Previous Civ games in humble bundle right now, including DLC it seems like: https://www.humblebundle.com/civilization-bundle

Persia though! My ancestors cry out for the opportunity to crush anachronistic empires with their own!

as an australian citizen i think itd be pretty hilarious to see an australian civ awkward moment when youre in the modern era but your aboriginal spearman is still a spearman our unique unit could be boxing kangaroo, drop bears, alligators or the deadly stingray unique building maybe a zoo? we got a lot of deadly animals
on a more serious note i wonder if they will make the civ based on the aboriginals or captain phillip cook. either way you could expect a shitstorm for it not going the other way

Didn't Australia lose a war to emus?

AUS SPECIAL UNIT: WAR EMU

UU: Crocodile Hunter, replaces infantry. Amphibious, bonus when fighting on marsh tiles.
They should bring back Sitting Bull next. I would take Hiawatha as well.

I only know of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_War. Was there a second one or was it considered two wars because it was attempted twice? The attempts were only a few weeks apart.

I count it as 2 because the army gave up and then had to come back later when the farmers were like "wait you still didn't solve the problem"

I hope it comes with a patch, a lot of stuff needs fixing.

When Firaxis says soon they really mean it and doesn't drag out on things just for the sake of it (*cough*Overwatch*cough*).
Lots of interesting changes here, and now Steam workshop support! Going to be lots of "just one more turn" for me I guess

The AI still spawns near you, declares war on you together all the time.
So much for AI changes.

i approve of the unique unit they gave to australia i hadnt thought of digger but its a really good choice imo

The Outback Tycoon is bugged After researching Sheep Rearing you will not be able to build pastures on top of certain tiles (others works just fine though). It's a shame because it is otherwise a very interesting scenario

I've went back to Civ 5,
I can't quite put my finger on why exactly - but playing Civ 6 just feels very boring. I never got sucked in like I did with 2, 4, and 5 (only started playing this years later, with all add-ons/expansions).

Haha that last one was the best

I think part is I dled Witcher and got roped into that for a month straight. I'm gonna give an honest run of Civ again this week and see if I catch the bug. I logged 300 hours in 5 in no time haha
