My team is so weird right now, running double Takumi, plus 5* Roy and 5* Chrom.
I also have that stupid quest where I have to get 10 kills with a flyer but I don't have a single one.

You can start over and still link it to your Nintendo ID I think, but you won't get the 10 free orbs again.
You can also just make a new Nintendo ID and keep rerolling until you find something you like, then link it.

Yes, mostly:
Physical Attack = Strength + (Weapon Might + Weapon Triangle Bonus) X Weapon effectiveness
It makes sense to separate Weapon Might from Strength in the formula if you're going to apply some modifiers to Might alone. But I'm actually not sure if that's what FEH does. It might be that every modifier is applied to Atk directly (which would be a bit simplistic, but more consistent with how it's displayed in the UI).

I'm running Marth 5*, Maria 5*, Camilla 4* and Cordelia 4*. I also have 2x Marth 4* in the stash, need one more for Hero King dream team, could give people some grey hairs if they run up against it.
Also whats the deal with that arena defense thing? For me it still says no records and theres 4 hours left of the season. Hoping it's something that updates after season rather than that my party hasn't had a single chance to defend or something.
And have they said whats the locked ??? game mode at the bottom of battle menu going to be?

Arena defense is kinda randomly done. I only got two so far. All you can do is hope that the matchmaker picks up your team.

I also got 2, but I've had ~7 friend requests, so idk what's up with that. As far as I know the only way to add strangers is after you've faced them in the arena? Maybe not.
I'm raising a 3rd 5* now, got Takumi, Tiki and Cain. Did another summon sesson today but no new 5 star oh well.

yeah, i guess ppl just click add after duelling in arena

Defense is if you defeat an enemy team with yours defending.
|
And they can add you if they beat your team.

Got a 5* golden Camilla yey
Also my Lissa is strangely tanky and can dish out a reasonable amount of damage, I can just put her out in front and she can tank loads of things, kinda weird.

Finally got my 4th 5* to round out the team. Takumi (beast!), Young Tiki, Cain and Merric.
2 red, 1 green, 1 archer so not a perfect distribution yet but it'll do for now.

Makes sense. I already used this thread for all FE related talk, you guys did an FE7 draft in here so I assumed it was allowed 
Completed my HM run of PoR on Dolphin yesterday. The whole run was easy peasy (it's JN Normal so that was expected) but then the final boss was surprisingly difficult. Not a fan of the "magical armor" thing which means only 3 of your heroes can damage him.
Onwards to an RD hard mode replay, which should be much more challenging, already dreading 1-1 and 1-3

US hard is a little bit more difficult than JP hard. It's still relatively easy because it lacks the large nerfs to bonus experience, which is one of the reasons why FE9 runs tend to get silly.

You can always run several blues. For example your Robins are probably better than your reds against almost any green enemy unit. That was a bit unlucky though, even your 4 and less star blues are better than your other colors :D.

well i just figured out the probable cause of my blues. i didn't realize swiping right on the summoning page gets me to another focus area. i was looking to get takumi lol

tfw i used up all my luck on my first two rolls, getting 5* lucina and 5* roy, 20 rolls laster, no more 5*s

I rerolled my account and am running, Lyn/Tharja/Camilla/Robin right now. I no longer have Takmui or Chrom who are are beasts, but Takumi should show up sooner or later and I just love Robin so much! What a unit.

Although the "Legendary Heroes" one gives you the biggest chance to get 5* reds, since 3 of the 4 focus chars are red. So you did have some bad luck in that regard.
But yeah, definitely go with deep devotion if you are searching for Takumi and you could also get Camilla as a good green.
Still it's okay, Robin is a beast and will carry you until you get more variety in your team, don't worry. You will also own the Takumi teams in arena!

Right now my team on FEH is Hector, Tharja, Camilla, and a 4 star blue pegasus knight which I can't remember their name. Need a new non squishy blue but I wanted to start saving orbs and its serving me fine, I kind of want a blue with decent res for times where hector is weak front line.
I'm happier with the game today then I was the day it came out although I will say my long term interest depends on how the locked game mode turns out.

Are people actually enjoying this game? The traffic jams from having only 1-3 mov are unbearable for me, especially when trying to position 2 attack range units.
