I've been hearing alot of good things for Reinhardt, i played with him due to a friend having him PIMP'D out with a full SI build for the voting battle. Crushed everything it ran into.
I wanna pull for him as well, i think if you dont have nowi or reinhardt, pulling only blues is probably the best thing. As unless ur desparate for hana's SI or shes ur waifu they just arent worth it.
But unfortunately i already have a nowi which makes me less inclined to pull, i think ill wait another banner.
My current lineup can handle arena to get me into a good ranked position so i dont really need anyone else, just feathers to upgrade sharena and olivia. But its been fun lvling up my est, pall and catira i already promoted them to 4stars and gonna see how they do at lvl40.
I hope the next banner has some nice reds units that i want, so even along the way if i can pull a 3/4star pall at least i have moonbows to give around (too attached to the free one they gave out)

Yeah this hero battle banner is definitely great if you don't have Nowi or Reinhardt, but I'm in a similar boat and already have Nowi, so I'll probably hold off.
I'm also starting to feel like there aren't that many characters who are better at 5* than the ones I already have... But it's still fun getting new people and seeing how they stack up against everyone else. Now that I've upgraded Sharena to 5 I don't know who to do next. Maybe Olivia.
Zephiel's hero battle is pretty straightforward, I didn't even use up all my stamina beating the lvl 40 one. Julia + reposition/draw back handles all the knights and Jaffar with Vantage 2 killed the red mage for me.

I got too greedy and pulled from non-blues and didn't get Reinhardt which is a shame. My quest for Horse Emblem will have to wait a bit longer (well a lot longer because it costs a ton of feathers).

If I have a 7-0 arena run finished with my high score in the top left can I start a new one without risking my standing?

Arena will only count ur highest score, so u can just keep trying it wont affect the one u currently got unless u beat it.

In my experience the "cheaper" orbs you get by pulling all 5 are never worth it. I use to just pull every single one, and i had 2 5stars out of 100 units. (94 but close enough)
It was terrible, so i switched it up i decided only to pull from focused colours that had more than one 5star of a colour. like in this banner i would pull blue because theres nowi and reinhart. Now in my last 68 pulls i have takumi, elise, spring.xander, raven, spring camillia, spring, chrom. Now im just saving orbs for another banner that i like and im way happier with the pulls ive gotten.
tl:dr dont pull on non-focused colours, that only have 1 5star of that colour (unless its a really good unit)

Yeah I agree, but I was pulling reds for Hana which is what got me into trouble. Life and Death was a tempting skill to have available for inheritance and I don't have any 5* red swords. I also got a round that was 4 colorless and 1 green which hurt my chances quite a bit.

Who is Hana's L&D3 good for? Glass cannon builds?
I've got good blues now but bad greens. I was thinking Effie / Reinhardt / Olivia / Cecilia - would 4* Nowi be better than 5* Effie in that lineup?

Yea this is by far the easiest grand hero battle. Mages + Dancer trivialize it hard.

I don't have Effie, but I'd imagine 5* Effie would be better than 4* Nowi. I also think 5* Nowi would be better than 5* Effie, but I could be wrong. I guess maybe you'll have trouble with green mages the way the lineup is now? As for Hana, I gave Marth L&D 2 + Rally Attack from her and it's made him able to fight Lucinas without just dying to their far superior speed (plus I found Pivot on him to be kinda meh). So that's actually one of the most useful SIs for me, probably second to bowbreaker 3 on Nowi.

I havnt had much experience with life and death3, mostly from just using my 4star hana, and found it to be quite unwhelming but maybe its meant for SI.
On the other hand because im running desperation on nino ive been using fury3, and i must say the difference that fury makes is huge.
The reason i dont like life and death on nino is because you want to run desparation (once its active you kill pretty much everything) but you need an activator in ardent sacrifice causing you to lose your draw back which combos excellecently with a dancer letting you hit and run by dancing nino moving her back and drawing back the dancer as well.
The only one i can think that life and death3 would be super useful is Setsuna with the quad shot build, giving her brave bow and L&d3 that way you dont really care about the negative stats.
