more players does not make a better game, considering its supposed to be a team based game I will even go so far as to say that more players makes it a worse game.
there is no team in a 36v36 map. its just a clusterfuck of people.

Offense - Scout, Harass, Press the Objective, High Damage. (Pharah, Reaper, Tracer, Hanzo) Defense - Guard locations, create choke points, establish a front. It does leave them open to releasing heroes as expansions/dlc/grinding content due to asymmetry rather than fixed classes. | ||

Heroes of the Storm is the only Blizzard game that probably won't be the most popular in its genre, Riot and Valve will make sure LoL and Dota keep the top 2 spots for a long time. | ||
