I find it funny that every time a team-based game comes out this same exact thing is said.
I don't know what people expect from the internet. Every team-based game ever made is absolutely awful when you're solo queuing. Your random teammate is almost always a useless lemming that doesn't know how to coordinate, will auto-pick Reaper or McCree, and will run straight into the Bastion every time.

I'll disagree, I play a ton of solo and its far less infuriating than any other team game. I rarely get angry at Overwatch. And if you do get on a shitty team, its ten minutes if that, where Dota can be an hour.

How long have you been playing? I felt like that my first week or so of playing where I was still learning myself but once you get a basic competency it is very, very frustrating having team mates making bone headed decisions and plays.

Anyone else having issues with group voice chat? Friend can join, speak and hear everything but after 30 seconds he just drops from the group voice chat. Wondering what would cause that.

Hey! I'm a long time cs player (all the way back from the first beta) that has played on a very high level for several years. I started playing Overwatch today and must say I believe the game has great potential - just looking at how it flows and how complex I think it can be regarding counter-picking and ulti-combos etc.
The one downside I see is from an e-sport point of view where I doubt the "watch-ability" of the game. The high tempo, the complex environments and the sheer number of battles that are taking place simultaneously should make it hard for the viewers to both see the bigger picture and at the same time see highlights (as in cs or sc, for example). Hopefully this is something that can be solved with good casting, but I wanted to hear what peoples thoughts are on this matter?

Are you saying CSGO is better? I wasn't even playing a ranked game of CSGO just trying to see what it was all about and the amount of flaming was insanity. I wouldn't call it a great solo experience.

What about it ? The solo experience is even worse than Overwatch, imho. That is why I stopped playing it. Nobody I know plays it and solo it is not fun.

And this is why Bastion is ez mode. Though, on offense, I'm usually the frustrated Mercy spamming group up because my idiot teammates keep running in without me and dying to the torbjorn or Bastion.

I mean, that happens in every team game. That happens in gym class. Also I think this issue is greatly exaggerated right now since its a fresh open beta. The majority of players are brand new.

the last one was actualy junkeart too but switched just when i took the sreen 
then we gone though a lot a 6man team like all reandarth in turtle formation, didn't work well;
all witson was fun, struggling until ult then all the ult at the same time to take the last control point and just push them out
all soldier 66 was kinda crazy because they had them too, was chaotic
it was really fun tho

i really enjoy the roadhog tank, maybe its because i cant aim.
i dont get any of the attack heroes, i dont enjoy them. especially when i play the soldier guy i need ages to kill someone when the bow guy from the defence heroes needs 2 shots.

Bastion kills things by himself faster than 3 attack heroes can. I can play him with one hand, look at me mom

The mod team and I have had some discussions. We will try running the forum without a lounge type gen thread.
Please see the note above. I suggest we attempt to open new threads now during the 24 hour transition period. I will rename the stickied PotG thread to be awesome moments later today. This way you can recount experiences without capturing your PotG and using screenshots or plain text.
We have a question thread, we have a rage thread, we can cover off what most discussion in here falls into. We will also be opening live report threads for tournaments so we can all talk tournies as they happen as well.
Self-promotion, as always, is limited to your stream thread under user streams. If the community really wants a way to discuss self promotion in the future for content we can discuss that when the time comes, use website feedback for that kind of large comment and discussion.
