Sylvanas looks way worse now, not because she wears more clothes, but because he looks worse.
Anyway, I just thought about this, it's probably a coincidence but I thought it was interesting enough to share it here and see what do you guys think:
After announcing Legion they confirmed Alleria Windrunner is coming back in the new xpac. Funnily enough, she was recently added as a hero in HearthStone. Magni is pretty much confirmed to come back in a way. He was recently added to Hearthstone as a hero too...
Recently, Blizzard added Medivh as a hero in Hearthstone....could... it be?
It honestly isn't that far fetched.

Hey, not a Legion-related question...I havent played WoW in years but now my Son is old enough to play I want to play with him. Just slowroll the old leveling content and enjoy the world with him.
Whats our best way to start together? We wanna have our own chars, so we need 2 accounts! I have an inactive WoD account and I havent found an InviteAFriend option or something. So I guess I just buy the regular WoW version for 15€ and we play till 90 and then evaluate if we need 90-100?

PvPers, is this new system good? For me as a non PvPer it seems good, i like the system but does it appeal to PvPers at the moment?
I am a bit iffy about it but it seems okay. I like that they are separating to another pvp tree. My only problem is that there seems to be no actual reward. Before you used honor to buy gear but from what I am getting is that the only thing you get is cosmetics? What will we get when we do arena if gear won't be the reward?
I am afraid that without a reward, people won't care to PvP because from what I see, they are making it so gear does not make any difference. I definitely won't if I don't get anything shiny or gear. Gear for PvP was in a way it self progression. Reaching that rating that allows you access to the good gives you a sense of accomplishment and pwning noobs in BG with it makes you feel like your hard work was well earned. You can argue gear vs skills but at the end of the day, we want gear just like PvE want gear. Hell, at the high end of the pvp arena, everyone will be in the same gear mostly anyways so it doesn't even matter but making the gear more exclusives like this gives the arena rating meaning and the character a sense of individuality from others.
To put it in example, how would you feel if all dungeon doesn't give you any gear but only drop cosmetics? Of course we are assuming all the dungeon bump your item level to the necessary level and all dungeon has the same level. Then when you beat the last boss of that dungeon, all you get is a key attunement to access the next dungeon.Then when you beat the final boss of the game you get an exclusive cosmetic to your artifact weapon that everyone else has. Hard to put this but people like to feel rewarded and big numbers make them feel that way. When other character are swinging for the same number you have even though you put more effort, it makes it feel pointless.

There should be a handshake icon on your in-game friends list. You'll still need to buy the game, of course.
No point in getting WoD if you're leveling from 1 to 90, chances are it'll be integrated into the package long before you hit the cap.

Don't go for exp boost stuff if you're gonna slowroll old content, or you'll be 5 levels above each region when finished, some will even be grey by the time you've progressed the story to the actual region.
I'd recommend classes with all 3 specs possible so you both can try tanking, dpsing, and healing. Casting classses except disc-priest are meeh in low level dungeons, if you're gonna do them, might be boring.

At the very least i expect cool transmogs cm-style

If dungeons and raids only dropped cosmetics on some difficulties i'd be fine with that, used to be all about gear and "building my character" but then i had over a year long progression of trying to get upgrades through WOTLK as patch 3.2 and 3.3 hit. Right now the gear is both much easier to obtain and less useful at the same time.
HFC hc gear is also pretty useless outside of the raid. You'll use it to kill HC archimonde and progress on mythics, but you blow apart everything in the open world even in Tanaan by now. Dungeons are well beyond the point of irrelevancy with i650 being totally doable for cm mythics, 700 being laughably overgeared and 715 plus a legendary ring being way, way worse. No new raid coming emphasizes that - we're gonna walk into Legion, replace our weapon on the opening scene and replace 90% of our gear 10 hours later. It'll speed up that experience, but by how much? Is that neccesarily something that you even want?
i'm at an existential crisis as a stats gear farmer so i think cosmetics would actually feel good for the final content in the next expansion. For PVP, they can make a bunch of cosmetic sets that upgrade based on your rank and have some cusomization/tweaks maybe and even keep that for the whole expansion, that would be quite cool. I mean back in the day the ranks gear were stat upgrades, that's a huge part of why you bought them - but for me and the few friends i did pvp with, it was all about the looks too.

I don't get why MMOs don't do the pvp GW2 style. You join the pvp lobby, everyone, and I mean everyone, has access to the exact same gear stats and builds. That way, it's fair. Then your reward is awesome skin sets as you rank up, or titles or whatever.
It works better for PvP than for PvE because you play vs other people and nothing is worse than the feeling that you lost to someone because he has grinded the system longer, not because he played better.

So i had to miss a lot of the stream after the bit where they just got to dungeons, did they say anything about:
release timing for beta+launch (i heard "beta later this year" but was that all that was said?)
ground+flying mounts at launch, if flying not available right off (is it?) then is it unlockable straight away officially with a pathfinder equivelant achievement or some other method?

I believe there is still a free trial thing (limited to level 20) that you can play. Additionally your inactive account can also play characters up to 20 without re-activating.
To play past 20 you would indeed need to buy WoW for him and pay a sub for your account.

All unknown at this time. Tho I expect a release in the Feb-May range but thats 100% not based on facts

Why do people PvP in Call of Duty?
The gear rewards are seemingly gone, they specifically mentioned they didn't like that a higher ranked player was more powerful because of the higher rank. In return you get cosmetic rewards of varies kinds by repeatedly gaining the new ranks (like Call of Duty Prestige system).
I wonder a bit about the gear myself. There still needs to be some PvP gear to put everyone on an even playing field and stop PvE gear from being superior.
I would guess they keep the current system of cheap Rare quality gear that scales up in PvP and remove the better Epic version (turning it into a transmog reward instead)

Biggest problem i have with the lore right now:
TBC, WOTLK and Cata had pretty good reasons to happen - TBC and Cata were a little out of nowhere, but still huge events that were not really easily preventable
For Legion, it seems like if Archimonde just shot gul'dan with a death laser instead of a repulsor laser, none of this would have happened. At all. Or if we had just fought gul'dan at any point in the expansion
for WOD previously, same thing - none of it would have happened if garrosh was actually dead or just imprisoned properly.
are we gonna start the next expansion with Illidan escaping off somewhere at 1% HP to break stuff?
I think AU gul'dan stumbling upon the tomb of sargaras is pretty cool even though it's kinda weird but the method of getting there seems bad (getting shot through a portal and not actually being dead after an entire expansion hunting him, yet never being able to engage in combat)
Having the last fight by vs gul'dan but not actually be able to beat him, watching him escape and potentially damage/destroy draenor in the process would have been better IMO

What I find really really dumb about this is how we somehow discover whole new continents on our home planet out of the blue. Like what the actual fuck? We have ships, airships, FLYING DRAGONS, flying mounts, aquatic mounts, archmages, farseers whatever the else you care to name, we have Explorer's Guild, other factions interested in such things and yet we haven't even mapped the landmasses of the planet we inhabit, nevermind that we've also gone to other planets and dimensions?
Fucking ridiculous.

Isnt this new expansion new territory on map used to be under some big maelstorm shit?.

Isn't it in the same place where Tomb of Sargeras was in WC3? There sure wasn't any massive amounts of lands there back then. But look at Pandaland, somehow it appeared out of nowhere. No one ever figured the mists before? Flew around or over it? Explored the underwater portions? What about the expansion after Legion, do they conjure up another continent?
Can't say I'm hyped at all about this expansion for various reasons.
