Maybe because people wouldn't like new stuff ? Maybe it's too difficult/takes to much time to do this. Or maybe there is not that many people that like the lore ?

It's like there is boundaries and they cannot go over them. Maybe because people wouldn't like new stuff ? Maybe it's too difficult/takes to much time to do this. Yes Garrosh was in previous expansions but did not exist prior to WoW. unlike every other major boss we have had.

With artifact weapons are we going to use the same (more or less) weapon from start to finish? Are weapons drops going to exist and if so are they useless? (See cloak drops in SoO for example but then an entire expansion long).

They're probably gonna be useless like Cloaks in SoO / Rings in WoD

Then Illidan showed him up, got the eye, but failed and was killed in Outland. And now time travelling Gul'dan comes to our world... and resurrects Illidan? Made all the more funny by the fact that AU Gul'dan is imo a weaker version then our original Gul'dan who did not survive the Tomb of Sargeras :p

The main lesson of warcraft is that when all else fails, a shit ton of rocks will do the work.

There was I believe no mention of his son Garrosh. We only learn about him during the Burning Crusade when we go to Outlands and encounter him. (Horde does anyway. Alliance doesnt I believe)

In fact, from a lore point of view, this expansion looks to be making even less sense than WoD. But the new mechanics sound interesting. Then again, I thought the same of WoD when I first saw the hype teaser.

Maive took dead illdans body and imprisoned it so his soul could still not rest (or something like that) and then Gul'dan breaks into the prison to resurrect him. (as shown in the teaser video) That makes some amount of sense... Maieve is a bitch like that.
