What's retarded is that's the point of Shadow, being good at sustained multi target fights.

We had like 2 of those in the first 17 bosses, it's ridiculous our top DPCT spell is getting a nerf this big when we're completely worthless on any fight other than 3-5 targets sustained.

And I thought VEnt was still garbo, it has been all expac and I don't think this tier set bonus will change anything, COP will still be the superior single target spec

Don't think there is official word but every other season Conquest has been wiped.
Conquest becomes Honor points, any points over the cap (4k) are turned into gold at a rate of 35 silver per point.

Define being good. Ive looked through warcraftlogs on every boss and the bosses where you have multiple targets(hansgar, maidens, flame bender, blast furnace) firemages followed by warlocks dominate anyway with shadows still being 30% or so behind. Blackhand is the only one where shadows seem to be at the top.
And you know what, that would be totally fine, if shadow had the utility it had in MoP. A vampiric embrace every few minutes and a mass dispel that is only applicable on one or two bosses per tier isnt really that great.

We did M beastlord at first with only a few people killing all of the adds, but i guess it's same situation there and other specs would beat shadow. I don't raid with any priests that will play DPS right now and i don't think i've ever seen good damage numbers since i left pre-4.2

I mean I completely agree considering I mained shadow last expac and I felt more impactful with my amazing VE and halo healing and all that jazz. We were the last true hybrid class but with the changes to damage only 90 talents and stuff shadow just doesn't do anything all that useful anymore.

In the wake of the string of defeats suffered by the Iron Horde, all enemies in Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties are Demoralized, reducing their health and damage by 20%.


Bam.

So if we had before.. Lets say 20 players, 2 of them tanks and 5 healers.

That's 13 DPS.

Assuming we have 40k DPS per player and mythic boss has 195m HP (grull):

boss dies in 6 minutes 15 seconds.

That's the current standard. If all damage drops by 20%, then we should be able to drop a healer and keep stuff roughly the same. That's not exactly how it works in practice, but you should still be able to do it i think.

14 DPS - boss dies in 5 minutes and 48 seconds

Boss now has 20% less HP. That means it previously had 1.25x MORE hp.

It now dies in 4 minutes and 39 seconds.

Because it's dieing so much faster, a much higher percentage of the fight is spent in the bloodlust and/or opening phases, there's less of a lul in the middle before it before people start to execute. Damage is always higher when stuff dies faster (no shit sherlock) but it actually contributes to a cycle of higher damage so stuff dies faster so more chance to deal more damage etc.

That seems to account for at least a 1.1x increase in damage, which would kill it in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.

they nerfed this like, four and a half years ago? Damn. I'l have to bring my DK over

secondary target damage was substantially lower since cataclysm. Damn my favourite class/spec in the game was frost DK tank with howling blast doing full damage to every target for like 1.5 years until they nerfed it.

Right after cata, they nerfed it so that the main hit did 66.7% more damage than the cleave. Eventually somewhere, they nerfed it so the main hit was twice as hard as the cleave. Now we have our sick AOE back

To put that into perspective, damage against main target is being improved by 1.25x. Damage against everything else that it's hitting (big radius boom spammy AOE) is increasing by 2.5x, which will just be amazing

FPS probably in the triple digits, latency usually rock solid ~32ms and the indicator stayed green. Think i'm gonna grab a HUD for focus and health (i rely a bit much on the MSBT low health indicator+sound) and be a bit more trigger happy on the deterrence because i hit healing tonic hotkey and still went >90% hp to dead in like 2.5 seconds before i could really understand what was happening. We failed that gold by about 10 seconds

So is it known what the legendary ring will be yet? Raidwide on use effect doesnt sound too impressive to be honest.

Yea, we knew for months unless they went against their word and changed it with no testing or datamining whatsoever

it's a raidwide activation that's seperate for DPS, healers and tanks. The DPS version is like +20% damage - for 15 seconds on a 2 minute cooldown.

So basically.. MM hunter heaven, since all of their burst is over 15 seconds on a 2 minute cooldown too

cleared 7/13H tonight. i really liked shadowlord iskar fight, especially as the dispeller/interrupter. Hated iron reaver, which is like twin ogron but outdoors. I never know where to stand if given a huge space.

So if anyone uses it, all rings in the raid are on cd, similar like bloodlust? Bloodlust is already stupid in lfr and 5mans when people pop it at the worst times, but this with the shorter cd is even worse. Holy shit blizzard really.
