EPTSo if SC2 is the best multiplayer RTS (according to me ;-)), why do we need SC3? Because we all know that SC2 sucks, is too demanding in regard to APM and can permanently damage wrists. The single player stories weren't revolutionary like SC:BW or WC3 were. So the best isn't even close to good enough for tl.net and that is why we need SC3.
How to pitch SC3 to Microsoft
Some of the most intelligent people on the internet play SC2. They come from all over the world, have different beliefs, color of skin, gender or political views, but there is a harmony lacking not only in other parts of the internet, but the whole world.
It's likely that tl.net members come into positions of authority within companies and governments. It would be much easier to negotiate between two persons that both can also discuss Starcraft. Think of SC2 as the cheapest step towards world peace.
Company development
It looks like we will get funded! After hearing the news I was so stressed out that I spent half the night vomiting, with a taste of lye instead of acid in my mouth. The amount far exceeds all my hopes, and I could become wealthy in my old age, maybe even rich (with my small share). Wish me luck and skill.
Dry, but exciting dream vs former KSK soldier
So if the company actually gets funded, I will (as Head of Research Europe) have the option to choose a security detail. I live around 30 minutes from Calw, where the KSK (German special forces) are stationed. I would love to hire a former member only to claim to have downed a commando soldier, albeit only in SC2. Playing that game could become a job requirement. One old boy can dream…
