My hunter would be around Dazed's DPS (give or take cause of adds, obviously). 45k sounds good though, especially as MM due to likely focusing ST primarily, like one of our rogues.
It's actually a decent fight on mythic, but man is it long.
It did feel good though to finally get it done.

Don't take rankings for fights seriously at all, they're mostly padding.

Yeah, I bet it's pretty amusing to do things like that when stuff is on total farm. Heroic Thogar would be another one of those lol pad the meters fights. If they can kill it that way i'l take it seriously not an easy boss to kill, and overgearing it (full mythic gear) is probably not a DPS increase enough to trivialize it
It's so much more DPS than i could do on adds though, i'l have to see what BM could do. I wasn't able to hit >45k dps when on adds 24/7 and clearing spears every time they dropped (though for our first pulls, we were not using BL until ~10 mins deep into the fight, eventually we started doing bl at start and then again on cooldown which was around when faultline died)

Beastlord is the easiest Mythic boss and yes top(ish) guilds will cheese healing and damage on any fight that is on farm. Got to do something to stave off the boredom.

A lot of mythic bosses seem difficult till you do them a few times, and when the whole raid is pushing 700 ilvl things really do start to become face roll. For example we found hitting the enrage timer on kromog to be a thing that mattered till we killed it the first time, which just happened to be 45 seconds in front of the enrage timer and about 80 attempts. The next week we 1 shot it with 80 seconds to spare etc. Now we're doing the fight in 6:30 or so, which is 2.5 minutes in front of the enrage, and there are people doing it in ~5 min. Beast lord darmac is probably almost 15 mannable for us now, things really do get a lot easier with practice.
That said, flamebender is easily the easiest, and imo hanz+franz is the easiest to wipe on like spuds haha.

First thing i'm noticing on mythic is just a lot more stuff to keep track of, it matters more where you're standing for preventing/avoiding damage/bad or even killing stuff better. We're actually DPSing spears. Losing a few people is more of a big problem and i'm focusing enough on other things that i sometimes wasn't looking at timers properly and get caught off guard by something i should have been waiting for. Thank god hunter has a button that functionally prevents all damage/debuffs for 5 seconds which you can push 7 times per pull on Beastlord

Yeh its like that for every boss, dont worry about it you'll pretty quickly get used to it.

Accidentally healed Gruul last night in dps set (0 spirit) instead of healing set (2300 spirit). Noticed it minute into the pull as my mana was unusually low, then decided what the hell, let's go for the numbers! And spammed my heart out. 76k hps, the other healers didn't have much to do, as I'm disc priest so there wasn't much left to heal :d Would have put me in top 20 heal logs for that fight if we had someone logging.
also, had 61.4% uptime on Archangel /flex

our healers have been complaining about lack of need for spirit most of the time (even when people are threatened by lack of throughput or tactics fails), but looks like mythic probably universally extends fight length (in beastlord it makes the phases take longer and then adds an extra beast, then doubles the boss HP remaining when you kill that one too, as well as you having to kill way more spears - maybe he even calls small adds more often too? IDK, a lot of stuff)
spirit being meh during the first tier of content is pretty weird though

I've found that having the spirit helps to ease the damage curves as I can spend more freely on shielding. Downside of this is that it covers up the fact when people fuck up mechanics. I sure wouldn't really need 2300 spirit in my set, but part of that is also due to dropluck and passing the non spirit items for the dpsers first. So I ended up with the spirit pieces and my drop luck/bonus rolls have yielded me spirit trinkets.

How fast are you guys killing heroic grull? We got a 3m 15s kill last week with standard clear group when we had some new people in and way higher DPS than previous

Hard for me to tell, since no one bothers logging. I've been meaning to start doing it just to analyze my own play, but so far been too lazy :p still few people away from being able to start mythic and in the current content I feel like my play is pretty strong anyway. Been playing offspec shadow on most recent fights. I guess it's somewhere around 3:30? I recall having to do 3 burn phases on my arc mage on that fight.
I'll actually figure out how to set the logs right now.

even on mythic I can spam PwS none stop and never run out of mana on Oregorger - around 140k HPS or so as well
Only fight where I ever go OoM on is on Blast Furnace and I do that intentionally because phase 2 uses 0 mana for a priest

That's weird, I can totally spam myself oom on just Gruul already. Well, I guess the EAA PoH eats quite a bit of mana.
Also on Ore, I'm spamming CoW on the soak tank to reduce raid damage instead of blanketing raid.

Grull no one really takes damage unless tanks are bad / people are idiots. There isn't much to really heal on that fight
