They've moved buildings into seemingly random spots, the portals are all over the place, and it's just all around nowhere near as intuitive as Stormwind.

I would highly recommend it if your looking to expand your pets. http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4580 I'm looking at that guide. There seems to be a gap between 'acquire your level 1 idol from AQ' and 'roll all pet trainers' where you somehow 'gain 24 levels' lol

It gets you level 25 pets quickly. you can then use the final step in the process (in Valley of Eternal Blossoms) to level your Idol and Emerald whelpling. Its longer and more boring then the daily option but it works.

Incidentally, I can't find shit in Stormwind, but the only time I ever spent a lot of time there was during vanilla. Nothing's as comfy as Undercity.

no reason whatsoever to be there. What a waste, the WOTLK architecture from the Forsaken settlements was quite a thing too. On a sidenote HC Kargath is a joke, struggling a bit on Butcher, not neccesarily on dps(a little bit) but also on healing. Mixing friends and social with raiding is always a bit eh.

Will be interesting to see what they will do with the Netherstorm area, I really hope we don't get a Flora/Everbloom instance, Iron Horde/Ogre/Burning Legion/Shadowmoon Council is more to my taste. Saw the changes, Frost mages are going to be really strong right now I feel, good that they buffed fire and Arcane, my friend will be happy with the elemental change. Would have liked to see some buff to not CoP spec but I suppose that will have to wait. I hope this doesn't influence PvP too much.

I hope they make 2h frost competitive. Single target damage should be good, but the problem is when you go to 3 targets, unholy is ahead by like 30% so it's unusable for a lot of fights. Also, Mastery is amazing for unholy and shit for 2 handed frost, so you're losing a lot of the advantage of 2h frost by mastery stacking. Dual wield frost is basically on par with 2h frost for single target damage, but by equipping a 2h, you get a buff to obliterate that helps you on single target. By equipping dual 1h, you get a buff to frost strike - which helps you against both single target but also AOE, and you also use a different priority system which adapts to AOE/cleave play better, so unless they make some kind of mechanics change, buffing/nerfing numbers won't fix it. They also fixed the dnd glyph (50% slow while targets are in it) so that it doesn't turn off when you use Defile talent, which is good because every spec uses Defile as a mandatory talent (kinda sad they didn't adjust the balance there.. it's a huge dps loss to take either of the other talents for either AOE or singletarget, unless your targets literally don't stop moving)

I find 2h frost fun just because you can walk up to something and randomly smack it in the face for 50k with one global (as unholy and 2h frost i never do more than about 17-19k in one global, so that feeling of power just isn't there) - 7% buff on top of 50k crits, i won't turn that down :D I hope they make 2h frost competitive. Pallies are king on butcher. Makes it so you just purely focus on the melee cleave teams aside from maybe an ironbark and lifebloom/rejuv from time to time.
