Patchwerk is gear check bosses/perhaps bosses with extreme burn phases despite some different mechanics.

Those are in the guild Why Me who are the 140th best guild in the game ^_^ (in 10man) aka 140th guild (on 10man level) to kill Garrosh hc which was much harder than 25man hc for that specific boss at least. So they are not shite :D

Rain of Fire damage has been reduced by 60% and no longer generates Burning Embers.
The Ember generation nerf fucks destruction AOE royally as it makes sustaining Fire & Brimstone a lot harder. Destruction was godlike in 5 mans before that, as the difficulty of challenge modes is aoeing down trash as fast as possible.

Has anyone found some way to determine when and how you get new missions, if you do missions do they get replaced by others? Do you need 1 char at 615/30/45 to trigger those missions or multiple?

I think you need to upgrade gear on your followers to get the new missions in yes. Not 100% confirmed that but my mate just got a 630ilvl weapon mission for his toon and has like 4 followers 615ilvl plus. The mission requires 3 followers level 100 with 615ilvl minimum.
I have not seen any of those missions on my characters yet.

Missions are generated over time, exact details are unknown atm but there appear to be several brackets of missions
90-94(95?) 95(96?)-99 100 100/615 100/630 100/645
You at least 1 character within the range of the missions from that bracket to show up. Level 100 and beyond missions also take a lot longer to be replaced that those before so if you let all your active followers reach 100 you will notice a very shard decline in offered missions. Hence it is ideal to keep a low and medium follower around so that you get the maximum amount of missions which equals maximum salvage and helps gear your other characters.

You need 2-3 characters with the ilvl to get said ilvl missions, with 3 +645 ilvl followers I'm getting highmaul chest missions now. Also when you've only lvl 100 followers and got some ilvls on them you'll get plenty of missions with better quality items to increase the ilvl instead of trying to get green ones from salvage boxes. I'm getting weapon and armor sets from missions now and it's much faster than increasing the ilvl with green enchants.

If you dont see any warlocks in rnd hc dungeons, its because you are playing a class that is not stacked with those. I play shadow priest, i think i never saw a warlock in a hc yet. I get 99% hunters though.

I believe you need two followers slightly below each "tier" (like 610, 625, 640, something like that) to trigger those missions.

My friend mentioned a certain guild saying that Unholy spec (for DK DPS) was mandatory to use because it was better, but i didn't really think that was the case (looking at simmed dps on patchwerk fight, they look to range from almost the same in 615 gear, to unholy being ~9-10% ahead* when in -full- mythic gear)
*but worse AOE and burst, right?
should i switch? I don't think i actually like the spec but i have not looked into it much at all since the changes to unholy after WOTLK/cata

DKs are one of the characters i have never played at highest level, along with Warlock and Rogues so i can never help or give advice on anything other than i read or hear. All i heard is by Fragnance and some CM world best timers that DK tanks are very good and Unholy DKs are very strong melee dps wise.
But again, if you "really" want to see what the best class is etc just wait until we get some data from raids next week and you will see who is who and what is what on rankings and logs.

Also is it possible that DK tanks have by far the best heal out of all tanks? Just did a hc ini and the dk tank healed half as much as me, just insane.

Yeah DK's have the best healing out of the tanks, this is also what makes them so good for stuff like CM. Its a lot less valuable in raids tho because there is generally enough healing to go around.

Still at level 96, as I have had to study 12+ hours a day for my exams. Fuck, I can't wait for the 15th, I'm going to play ALL the time during christmas!

On the other hand, great self-healing means you can drop from three to two healers quicker (or two to one, five to four... whatever your raid comp uses). And of course dropping a healer in favor of an extra DPS speeds up farming and makes everyone happy.
There's a stagnation period, though. In CMs and heroics self-healing is great. Then you enter a 10m raid with three healers and it's suddenly useless for a few weeks while your healers gear up. Then it becomes amazing again when you reach the threshold where you're able to drop a healer.

My friend on Paladin tank is outhealing a lot of the healers that we get in LFG for 5 man heroics, it's pretty funny. If DK healing is better, i'm in for a pretty wild ride :D
Of course we never pull less than 3 packs of stuff at a time :D
with or without a boss included is optional
