Basically they just gutted all professions across the board and make them "easier" and aimed at non-raiders. Professions are no longer an endgame thing, but rather a side feature like pet battles. | ||

And in Mists, the only thing I used Blacksmithing for was my socket bonuses. So much fun. There's bound to be raid quality gear recipes that come out of the raid tiers, that will keep the professions relevant and create the divide that always comes between raiders' professions and non-raiders. As far as Blacksmithing goes, there's always a market for lower level gear for transmog or alts. I can do as much or as little with that demand as I want. Those reforged BC weapon recipes from the Isle of Thunder are going to remain in demand for a long time to come. | ||

I'm currently trying to solo Heart of Fear 10. The real version is that my Pet Crab is solo'ing Imperial Vizier Zor'lock. I've been Mindocntrolled since he reached 50% on the last platform, but the mind control is spamming mend pet, and my pet is slowly killing him 1% every minute. It's hilarious. Currently the boss is in enrage mode, singing his thing but it doesn't do any damage lol. I'm hitting and healing my pet agaisnt my will, my pet is killing the boss, the boss is doing nothing. He's at 30% while I write this. | ||
