I didn't notice a difference, other than there being about half as many mining carts available (which really didn't affect my ore production much). Their hotfix caused level 3 mines(don't know about other levels) to spawn randomly more nodes after you had mined all the ores once already. Good stuff blizz.

I don't think i actually like the spec but i have not looked into it much at all since the changes to unholy after WOTLK/cata I'm trying out Unholy for the first time since Wrath and it's actually pretty fun. It has a few more buttons to press than Frost and is less proc reliant. The only thing I miss is using Pillar of Frost to lol@knockbacks.

What they should have done is just fixed fucking smelting. They should have just given Smelting aka Mining the way to smelt the bars too and everything would have been fine for me and other miners we could of sold the bars on AH or even if they are soulbound we could have used them. But to make it so you can't smelt bars, can't do anything other than what you can do in your mine is just silly. Oh well, maybe i get my wish one day!

They already fucked up Enchanting even more than it already was. Blue items no longer drop shards, but instead drop about 10 dust. This was their solution to solving the dust shortage (instead of just allowing us to smash shards into dust, like we've been able to do previously). Except now, there's a severe shard shortage because you can no longer get them from disenchanting... and it requires 20 dust to make one shard. See where I'm going with this? One blue used to provide one shard. Now one blue provides 10 dust, or half a shard. So, you need to disenchant two blues to get one single shard. But then you have to factor in that this change was made because there was a shortage of dust, which means if you were to disenchant two blues and then create a shard with the dust... you're back to having a dust shortage again. Basically instead of everyone being short on dust, now everyone is short on dust AND shards. Enchanting has basically turned into a grinding profession, as the only way to get materials now is to chain run heroics for an average of about 15 dust per run. Just to keep up with your work orders you need to run about five heroics per day. Want to actually use your profession to enchant something? That's gonna be another two heroics for each enchant. Jewelcrafting is even more useless and broken.

The only real way to fix any of them would be to remake the entire profession system from scratch for WoD items (aka, go back to the previous incarnation of professions). That, of course, requires time... which requires money... and also requires Blizzard to admit they made a poor decision - which they are incapable of doing - so instead they will spend all expansion applying budget bandaid fixes without ever really solving the problems. Bosses range from 10k to 20k depending on the mechanics and movement. Trash pulls range from 7k to 12k, and pretty much every group I'm in tries to kick me before the first boss for "bad dps". It's hard to look good on AoE trash when you're pulling 7k and everyone else is doing 30k.

There are exactly zero craftable greens this expansion, and all of the crafted blues take a minimum of five days to craft. So, you're looking at 10 more dust every five days.

You'll need to post some logs. Go beat on a training dummy for 3-4 6 minute parses and save them to WCL, then post here.

And there definitely isn't a storage of shards. An enchant takes 1, and I have over 60 of them after fully enchanting like half my guild. Some of my enchanting friends have hundreds.
