What is the point, can anyone on EU actually 'play'? Twisting Nether has a 2500+ queue, which takes an hour and then you probably dc anyway. Twisting Nether has been hitting 5k queue, there's a huge grace period where you can leave/dc and rejoin without getting in it though server is working good right now. Only ~200ms on casts. Gonna keep playing through level 100 probably but that might take a while

Most guildies couldn't do anything at frostridge whole day and pretty much every other zone is lagging as well. Been offline many times today as well as constant dcs/rollbacks etc. Couldn't stay up anymore and took 1h nap and it's +4k queues now, MoP launch was so much more smoother and there was no lag at all on Jade Forest at morning.

We both dc'd from the queue as the server went down entirely like 20 minutes ago.

TN has been probably one of the most unstable servers, I'm glad I pulled all nigther to rush to 100 Me and friend had some issues, took like half an hour to get through dark portal and then we stuck for like 6 hours on a few of the problem quests, after that there was no more "staying ahead of the pack"

If anyone here played Guild wars 2, they have the most advanced servers system ever. They don't have the same population obviously, but they can do server maintenance without downtime, and the servers haven't been down or unavailable in 2 years. If only they ahd that for WoW.

If the game is this broken they should just take the servers down for however long it takes them to fix this shit, rather than bottlenecking thousands of people in the same square. the problem is starting and stopping the realms takes time, and they cant test if it works without letting people back on. so it would take even longer to fix and there would be nobody playing at all in the meantime. this might be frustrating but its the best solution for most people.

I agree, and playing 80% of the time today with ping fluctuating wildly from 200 to 20'000 hasn't been too fun. I'd rather they halt progress for -everyone- because i don't feel like it's much of an option personally to go to other stuff for a day or three while everybody else plays and some are less handicapped

Having a constant 250 ping is very very very lucky. Here on EU Shattered Halls there's phasing issues (half the time mobs and NPCs either load really slowly or not at all), pingspikes upto 20k ms, disconnects (world server down). Garrison doesn't work at all (you get ported out and the Hearthstone straight up doesn't work but goes on cd anyway, not even a loadscreen was had). Yea i've experienced no shortage of any of this. The garrison breaking was semi recently though, mostly when i used it before it worked great i go back to quest and have constant 250 ping if i'm lucky

I quit playing near the end of the burning crusade so I'm curious about the things that have changed I've been hearing that professions give passive bonuses or something like that, is that only for crafting professions or is going double gathering still doable? Has blizzard cut down on the experience required to go through leveling and if they have can you give me a general idea of by how much? How decent is class/spec balance for PvE? I'm interested in warlock/priest/shaman specs. If I buy the $20 WoW downdownload on bnet does that include all the expos up to warlords? I've been trying to find this answer myself but I guess I'm terrible at Google. Any other tips or important info would be helpful gl hf with launch day

I've been hearing that professions give passive bonuses or something like that, is that only for crafting professions or is going double gathering still doable? That used to be the case until now, but not anymore. Professions do not have any particular perk, and in fact in your garrison you should be able to use any two professions somewhat efficiently. For example, for alchemy you can make decent (but not the best) flasks through your garrison if you don't have that profession on your char, while if you do have it you can more easily craft higher amounts of the best flasks/pots. Has blizzard cut down on the experience required to go through leveling and if they have can you give me a general idea of by how much? Compared to TBC levelling is a breeze because questing is structure much better, including the whole world since the late TBC and Cata revamps, low level characters are considerably more powerful than they used to be and yes, they did adjust exp slightly. For reference, using full heirloom gear (which gives you a 55% experience boost) which you can get from max level activities from your main, i was able to go 1-60 on an alt in less than a week, and i'm not even that good at levelling. How decent is class/spec balance for PvE? I'm interested in warlock/priest/shaman specs. For the average raider (ie not racing for world firsts but still being fairly serious about raiding), you can play any class/spec you want in PvE and carry your weight in raids. There are optimal specs but they are far, far closer than they were during the TBC era (moonkins and ret aren't joke specs now, if you can believe that). If I buy the $20 WoW downdownload on bnet does that include all the expos up to warlords? I've been trying to find this answer myself but I guess I'm terrible at Google. Every expansion except warlords is included i believe.
