For those who don't know, you literally cannot kill him if you let Onyxia die, so you have to keep her up to stay in P1. Otherwise the lava rises and you die to blast waves from guys on other platforms before you can kill them all.

It becomes alot easier with 2 people, if you had 3 you could probably do it alot safer, but i much prefer the 2 people tank ony + skeletons then burn nef down as soon as he lands strat. If you jumped half a second before it finished filling, you'd actually go underwater instead of jump on the platform, all this while taking tons of damage. It was even worse before they patched it. | ||

That too. When i was doing attempts with a friends guild we wiped quite a few times when we got to that part bc swimming up didnt always work like it was supposed to | ||

Second Wind, despite being shit for everything else is also pretty nuts for soloing old stuff. | ||

There was a bit of cc at the start of cata heroics, but it wasnt really needed and after the first tier it was mostly just aoe fests. | ||

Tanks can hold aggro just by picking their nose. Healers never get oom. Mob packs don't do enough damage combined to get through the mitigation/avoidance from the tank plus the healer. Therefore, you can just pull packs, everybody pew pew. and moves into the next pack. Also roamers that can mess up your pulling basically don't exist anymore. | ||
