SoO mythic is a joke now though, don't pay 100k or something crazy for that stuff unless you absolutely can't live without the fos. I'm Alliance, so I can't sell you a spot in our group ;( + Show Spoiler + we would probably charge 10-20k for a Mythic Garrosh kill (not confirmed) | ||

Don't need mythic, no - but hc would be still nice. Especially now, after being scammed out of 14k - sigh. Rookiemistake i guess, and pissing annoying. :[ | ||

We msg him, tells us to join the raid, which we did - gave him the gold, and got kicked. After some messaging back and forth, telling us that the raidlead didn't know about us, basically lying etc - he logged off. Got then hold of another person in that raid, telling me, that he was a random player that was invited just a boss early, and obviously doesn't have anything to do with the raid itself. Pretty scammy in my mind. edit: don't think that the support does anything about it, will still write a ticket and warn others in the forums about him, makes me feel at least a tiny bit better. | ||

I wouldn't do "will relog and give you money" etc, obviously - i wouldn't have given a person in Orgrimmar gold either. We already did some trash, that's when i thought "well okay, seems fine". I'm too old to be furious about it. | ||

You would go: /who 60 Ironforge, have a list of characters, send each of them said package with the subject 'Here's your Krol Blade' and sometimes it would work. The beauty of that was that you only scammed dishonest people who tried to take advantage of a mail-error. Paid for half of my first epic mount through that. Nowadays, however, GMs crack down on that, so you will get your gold back and he should be temp-banned for 48 hours. | ||

 Good to hear that they crack down on scamming though (i remember those packets, was kinda obvious that nothing comes from it^^). I'm too naive and honest for a game that supports scamming, that's why i don't play Eve anymore. -.- | ||

I was in a Malkorok group yesterday where we wiped on blood rage phase because a guy with the debuff stacked on raid. I finished with 15.9k dps, no one else above 10k. I called the guy out who was a 6k dps and he didn't even know he was the one who wiped us, then he told me to QQ more. I told the leader to kick him, said no for the ready check, the leader just ignored me and started the pull countdown, so I left. Just don't put up with that shit because 90% of the time, one wipe like that and that kind of attitude means a million more wipes are coming. | ||

Honestly the only way to avoid those kinds of groups is just to ignore them and find a guild that suits your playing style. The game is so much more enjoyable then imo. | ||

Also got the mount from Rag on my first heroic kill(last time i touched him was when he was relevant content) ive ran kara like a million times and never seen the mount tho, shits lame | ||

Not going to happen nowadays anymore, and i'm sick of being rejected because some random number in my sheet is too low. I do understand that they don't want to take a risk since they don't know me - doesn't change it though. You can't even build a group on your own, because as soon as people see you, they start to suspect that you want them to carry you. Finding guilds is as impossible, since they (at least on Frostwolf EU) have the same ideas. At least X experience (which is fine) and GS >560. It's the end of the expansion, so nobody will take lowbies. The right time to look for a guild/raid is in the first couple of months in WoD, when the gear-scissor isn't that wide open yet. | ||

Just need another person, can probably 2man most of it. I could solo all of T11 for the most part(obviously not Nefarian as i stated earlier) But the bosses in T12 were a huge step above | ||
