Also, not being able to skip through that fucking experience counter after a game is stupid as hell. I don't need to know the xp breakdown of what I got after the 1st time to see where it comes from, come on... | ||

I also noticed more Rebel wins in my games last night and today. Still a lot of people who just walk right past the uplinks. The game becomes a lot better when you learn the map and good choke points. I rack up kills when the walker passes by that narrow doorway to the inside and all the Rebels stack up there. Every time! | ||

I feel like if there were organized try hard groups going head to head that would make this an interesting game. But pubbing it is way too easy and I feel like its not even a challenge. | ||

I feel this way. Except I'm that guy not shooting back. :-P But yeah, skill gap among different players can feel huge. I love Star Wars, so I'm doing this (and loving it environmentally) but I'm no FPS guy, so I never expect to be better than middle of the pack. | ||

Except I am below middle of the pack. I dont play FPS so I am just terrible at this. How do you get to fly a fighter? And yeah it would make sense to develop a matchmaking system for this that uses some kind of skill rating. | ||

The rebels do get pounded from the vehicles and shit spawns but if you pick the right load out and play correctly you can do pretty substantial amount of damage by yourself. It also seems that even though you have no defined roles you can really hone your own. On empire I go thermal, jetpack, and shield running from point to point capping. Jetpacking on site and shielding while strafing back and forth is a pretty good tactic. On rebels I kit out with ion grenade, ion bullets, and jetpack and run around to sites with a similar game plan. Dealing with at-st's aren't bad at all with ion shot and ion grenades. When your y wings come in you can do pretty decent damage. Grabbing a turrent, fighter, or one of those anti tank turrets helps out a lot too. I won't buy the game because I think the main game will be less fun than this small beta but maybe in the future I'll consider it. | ||

But the gameplay and mechanics seems shallow. I didn't like the vehicle spawn system as well. I don't know if I'll buy this game because right now I prefer to play BF4. | ||
