Do you think it will actually be made? Or is EA acquiring the Star Wars game license just giving us false hope. Bioware, Dice, and Visceral are the three companies under EA making the star wars games and if any one of them would make a BF3 it would be Dice.

According to http://www.techdigest.tv/2013/05/star_wars_battl.html "DICE head Karl-Magnus Troedsson stated that the studio would not be adverse to picking up and working on existing Star Wars gaming properties, as well as developing brand new experiences in George Lucas's sci-fi universe."

Dice is currently opening a new office in LA.

Good news for BF3? Or is it all just a pipe dream?

This is all speculation at this point...

Would EA be smart to put DICE in charge of a BFIII game? Hell yeah, those games were some of the best to come out with the Star Wars IP in a long time, and I whiled away many hours playing them.

Will it be any good? Who knows?

DICE is owned by EA and in the articles I've read they've stated it's EA opening the LA office. So basicly isn't it an EA office with a brand name?

fresh from E3, by dice, so if everything goes well, we're going to have battlefront 3 on battlefield level.

Seeing how shitty EA has been lately I'm not too excited. If they had this about 8 years ago it would've been news, but if it follows the path of Battlefield 3 it's going to be terrible.

Battlefield 4 as a game looks like a shit storm mixed with a rage tornado with 64 vs 64 online. I mean CoD is bad enough 6v6 or whatever it is. Can't imagine the shit storm that could happen with 64 vs 64. Or the amazing lag and the mass changing hosts etcetc.

I hope they just re ignite the previous battlefront games and not make it like game X or Y. I mean star wars games are fucking awesome, and this has the potential to drain the rest of the life out of SW:TOR too ^_^

It was a trailer I doubt they are that far in production on it.

Honestly unless I am mistaken I believe Dice is working on it which is good as dice knows how to make a damn good shooter. I can't wait for it and with it being on the frostbite 3 I can only imagine how epic it's going to be :D.

I think that battlefront 3 will have all the same issues that bf3 has (battlelog, money whoring expansion, not too much new content in said expansions, etc) but the fact that I enjoy bf3 anyways in spite of all that plus my love of the battlefront series PLUS my inner Star Wars fanboy means that I am SUPER SUPER stoked about this. It's gonna be on PC, it's gonna have sweet graphics, it won't be perfect, but I'm going to buy it day 1, just like I did with battlefront 1 and 2. SO PUMPED NOW. This was by far the coolest thing to come out of this E3
