(And dancing 12 feet off the ground :p) He mentioned that they were talking about pvp->pve transfers, and would likely open them again in the future if the situation became such that it seemed necessary, so it's not like they're locked *forever*. | ||

Elder gem weapon yay Yah after seeing ohmna as well, it looks like there's three fights in GA designed to take around 12 minutes. That's something pretty new to this game i think, i don't remember most WoW fights being longer than 5 mins or so | ||

I really don't remember, but it seems vastly longer. In WoW there was a lot more overgearing i think, past the start of the content tier or even nerfs and by ICC time, the buff to increase player damage/healing/hp which made stuff go a lot easier and faster. I think most of ICC was like 4-6 minute fights, with 2 combat resses on 10 man, so if i get back into WoW raiding that will be a very welcome cushion to have back for a raid group. I think they have to make generally playing the fights easier than they otherwise would have to, because they have to make it easy enough for nobody to mess up for a very, very long time and people will always mess up when they are stressed unless they are the among the best in the world Most of my WoW raiding was in WOTLK, and i didn't do hardmodes before trial of the crusader so i have limited perspective I got my Convergence EG weapon and it had life/logic slot (i actually thought it was 3-5 runes from the vendor when i bought it because i checked some site, but it was wrong and it was actually 2-4) and i wasn't near brutality milestone so i runed double assassin rune of crit chance. Right now raid buffed (not sure if missing any, but this includes food/pot and the medic crit% buff) i have 1955AP, 7% strikethrough (with 2/3 amp points) and 25% crit chance. When i had crafted gear and nothing from GA/EG, i had about 5% less crit, a ton less strikethrough and i think even less AP too, nice to see progress there but these raid epics will be -really- worth it when they all go from 2 to 5 rune slots and runes become stronger. Our class warrior lead is ahead of me by about 1% crit chance, a few hundred AP and a lot of ability/amp points so accounting for that, i don't think i have much problem actually putting the damage down unless i'm not confident enough doing what i'm doing, which is rare in GA by now. All of that difference is just from extra gear drops, better runs slots etc i think. Maybe grim grims / databoard, but i'm not concerned for those because they won't be so dominant for GA post-patch How hard exactly is Ohmna after the phase with the 3 mini ohmnas to actually finish? Furthest we got was about halfway through that phase. The other group killed it (: | ||

If you try it before megaservers, make sure to play on Hazak/Ascendancy for EU or Pergo/Stormtalon(????) for NA. I think stormtalon is the right pve realm, but my memory is fuzzy on that one | ||

The other group killed it (: To be honest i didnt play in Cata, i just remember people complaining about it. and you are correct, most fights lasted like 6-8 mins. Lich king was the longest fight. Ohmna after phase 3, if you have all or most of your party alive it should be a kill. Its pretty easy when you get to phase 4 with people up. the 3 adds are by far the hardest part of the fight | ||

got her on the fourth time in the phase, after this on the first time we got through: ![]() i would rate p3 as way harder than p4 just because p4 is an obvious "rush to kill boss" time with soft enrage mechanics and high stress. p3 is longer and it doesn't give the impression that people are supposed to die, it's just the easiest part of the fight for a cataclysmic mistake to happen | ||

server goes down wednesday at 1pm through thursday (1am-1pm, after the 12-14hour maintenance) so we had to cancel that raid day. I was hoping for ohmna kill because killing her with 9 hours in GA is much harder than with 12 I was dead when ohmna went down but not through fault of my own (i think we entered the phase with 3/4 healers, then our tank died near the end then i got devoured right before the add died) | ||

2shot phage due to some unfortunate circumstances, our main tank died in phage 2 and a fraction of the raid got instantly blown up afterwards but we still killed it np 2shot prototypes with immortal achievement, first wipe was called early due to a silly mistake. Apparently we just took the #1 in the world execution rank for logged prototypes kills ever :D ![]() I probably shouldn't have that shoulder rune Ohmna down. 3.5 hour full clear of GA, zone in to end boss dead ![]() The timer says 3 hours, 47 minutes, 50 seconds, but we did first pulls from ~19:06 and ohmna went down at 22:35 with a break (so 3 hours, 29 minutes) | ||
