I pulled the trigger and pre oredered the game
Guild name TeamLiquid is reserved.
My Gut it telling me this game is going to be good and developed well. From their marketing campaigns to their dev blog videos to their statement that they believe that a completely justifiable ui is important to the game.
My brain is telling me its a mistake and I wasted 85 bucks on a song and a dream.

Depends if NCSoft fucks it up like they normally tend to do.

The Digital Deluxe is a complete waste of money... you get nothing extra thats worth it!

Its ok man I have a really good feeling about this game too... the 10 hours I've played it I had more fun playing that then I have any games recently and I didn't even get to any of hte good stuff like dungeons / Raids or any PVP so there is so much content I Pee a little just from the sheer excitement thinking about it ! hahaha

I'm looking forward to the Teamliquid warplot. 40 vs 40 custimiseable pvp matches real.
Ops week is also still going on. The realms might still be up or they might not who knows.

I uploaded an exe file that you can use to install the game. ops week is going on this week but I can't garentee you'll be able to play at any time whatsoever. Its like the really werid beta with a bunch of server end testing going on before the launch.

I preordered and can now login for ops week. The game runs extremely smoothly and looks great. The controls feel good etc.
On the down side, the questing is very on rails, but I am not playing this for the questing anyway. There are some UI bugs, but even if they are not patched quickly you should be able to use addons to get around them.
On the whole, very promising.

EDIT : Nvm, google is my friend

I personally like the questing. It's a lot like WoW's but the combat makes me actually wants to kill stuff and collect things. Also, for people that have stuttering fps/inconsistent fps. I'd strongly strongly recommend a ssd, even if externally attached with usb 2.0. It still makes the game a lot smoother.

Another question : How do I know which region I bought the game for ?
|
YOU CAN PLAY RIGHT NOW!??!!? I have been itching to play this game ever since i tried it like an addict itching for a fix hahaha
|
wait... you can play?
I thought open beta was closed :o
|
I believe they're doing various server tests. So yeah you can play, just expect it to be unstable.
|
Its called ops week. it lasts till headstart begins and they release the game. They're going to mess with a bunch of server side stuff to get a handle on when things go wrong and test out the character wipe when it comes (it will come and you won't be able to save your character at all.
But you get to play it sometimes during business hours?
Personaly I'm just useing it to test a bunch of different classes for pvp to see what I think
Spellslinger/engie are the pvp classes and stalker is the pve class. The world just doesn't have any difficulty at all for a stalker right now to do pve,
I'll probably have 2 classes with a chua slinger and a chua engie. I don't care if they don't have smaller hitboxes then other races I still love those homicidal bastards.

I have checked everytime I get home to see if the server is up and I guess I never catch it
|
servers up for me
EDIT : NVM Back up
|
Pre-ordered despite missing out on the Open-beta. Looks like a really fun game. Have to pick class/path based upon youtube videos
Torn between 3 classes and 2 paths. The only viable paths in terms of usefulness are Scientist and Settler. Though it's hard to tell how useful the Scientists stuff are without seeing how big the world is or how hard it is to get to the Capital.
Class wise it's between Warrior, Medic and Esper. I suppose the nice side of early access is I can use a few days to test out classes and decide on one and get it out of the starting zones before the official release.
