I'm not sure what to think of that Rock/Fairy typing. It has several unfortunate weaknesses, and Diancie weeps tears of blood at that 4x Steel weakness. Carbink, the only other Rock/Fairy type, has several severe drawbacks, but those are due more to lack of reliable recovery, a lopsided BST, and its inability to threaten common switch-ins that leave it as setup bait. Diancie, however, has potential for a much better movepool, almost certainly superior stats, and other goodies. Clear Body seems a little wasted, though, since the most common stat drops come from Intimidators and Defog. Rock is primarily a physical attacking type while Fairy is primarily special, so being unaffected by Attack drops might be nice... but if Diancie gets Power Gem or a unique special-based Rock move, the Attack drop negation is kind of negligible. There's not a whole lot to analyze, but in terms of a competitive standpoint, that typing leaves quite a bit to be desired. Who knows, though; stuff like Talonflame and Cloyster do really well despite their mediocre defensive typings. EDIT: The same issue of CoroCoro says that next month is scheduled to have an event giveaway; if you play Pokemon X, you'll receive a Charizard with a Charizardite Y, and Pokemon Y players will receive a Charizard with Charizardite X. I can't really tell if this is a Japan-only event or not, but if it's international, it'll be a good way to obtain the other version's Mega Stone.

Unfortunately, not a whole lot is known about it, aside from its Rock/Fairy typing, its ability in Clear Body, and its capability of learning "moves like Hyper Beam & Explosion" (lol so helpful). Base stat total is unknown, though I'd hazard a guess and say Diancie is yet another of the "600 BST pixies" that have 100 base stats across the board, similar to Manaphy, Shaymin, Mew, Celebi, and others. Actually, the base stats are estimated to be 50/100/150/100/150/50 There are a few big "ifs," but it still seems plausible.
