stupid achievement. muscovy cedes half their land to novgorod in a war with poland lithuania uzbek can still field like 50k units on like 5 provinces k i dont like playing with cossacks period, but otherwise you get cock blocked by timurids pretty much constantly, but with cossacks they die to tribes within a couple of years. but horde unity is just dogshit as fuck | ||

Here is my game so far: Here are the army sizes. One of the great things about this difficulty setting is that you get big final bosses going deep into lategame. In my Coptoman campaign every Sunni in the world (from Morocco to Brunei) wants to coalition against me for taking most of the Saudi Arabian area, Mamluks and half of Persia. Previously it would not be this bad. In Europe no-one gives a fly though. This was hotfixed, AE doesn't propagate nearly as hard now | ||

Not as easy as I thought it would be. I can ally with France easily but England is a big threat. I don't want England to start attacking me when I'm exhausting my resources to wipe off Aragon. What can you recommend to keep Civil War from happening? One thing I noticed: My allies almost never come to my aid when I start a war, but the enemies's allies are always there for them, regardless of how "unworthy" their ally is. For example, a big country like England entering a war just for a small country like Ganavara or something. | ||

For example, a big country like England entering a war just for a small country like Ganavara or something. anytime i play castile/spain the big thing is to watch where the rebels spawn and dont accept the popups without an army on them. you shouldnt try to kill aragon by any means unless it looks like a union isnt possible, you can also claim throne on them and force a union too if they dont have super allies if you arent playing with cossacks you can call them in every 10 years, which is where france is the big help since they can beat most countries by themselves, austria not that great anymore since they added rivalry with france you cant get austria + france which means youre unbeatable at the early part of the game. i always do a kill granada, maybe ally portugal to get a hold in africa, then start colonizing like crazy once you make spain you can backstab france even though its hard as fuck to kill them 99% of the time. main thing for civil war is to keep stab and stuff high so it never triggers | ||

Perhaps Ming might be easy now a days, rarely see the AI explode. Most of the time when playing the game the first time you don't finish it so the slower tech shouldn't really matter. | ||

No westernization and increased cost for tech is out completly. in its place is a series of "institutions" that your country can adapt that spread around the world from its scource. every year you don't have that institution your tech costs go up. There are 8 of these over the game I think. | ||
