Yes, some games have more luck than others, and some are based on luck only (ie dice rolling). And no, i dont think that Bo3 without losers bracket is long enough run to analyze skill in wc3.. however Sky is really great player, deserved to win. But im not quite sure about shortround, i dont think he should have finished top4, he is good player with exceptional manner, but not the best of his race in my opinion. I cant see the imbalance, and i think people should rather switch race than whine.. or switch the whole game.. But yeah, the game was badly imbalanced at some point, and im glad that its fixed. | ||

On a somewhat related note, the game between Bjarke and Qpool.Neytpoh in the group stages is very good, 40 minute game on LT with lots of expansions, spells, ultimates, etc. | ||

I dunno what the maps were, but my best guess is just that Shortround knows Grubby better and has played him much more and was better suited to his style of play, whereas Deadman isn't and was probably quite a bit more nervous. Shortround didn't expect to go far and so probably wasn't as nervous. | ||
