I've add more success with him when I buy armor penetration in middle lane but at a certain point, some casters like He Bo, Agni are glass cannons with a lot of CC so it makes it difficult to close up the distance. However if you can gain a advantage in the mid-game you can still be relevant in the late. | ||

Just played a 1 hour 20 min game where we were 5 outgeared Gods and none of us had a chance to kill their Vamana. He single-handedly turned the game around. We had plenty caster heroes, I was Anubis with 20-something kills and all the items I could ever need. ^^ | ||

I was interested about idea of 3rd person MOBA and as an idea it's great, but after playing for couple of days I'm disappointed. The game is been made to 3rd person view just for sake of having 3rd person view, Smite doesn't utilize that viewpoint at all(jumps, different heights on map, aiming also on Y-axis etc etc) so it just makes the strategical play more frustrating. When spectator viewpoint won't be too different compared to other MOBAs, couple of big MOBAs already being out as a legit esport-games and with huge playerbases and the frustrating feeling of unneeded and un-utilized 3rd person view for players, I don't see ways for Smite to have any form of big success, neither as an competitive game/esport nor as a casual game, as it currently is. /rant, ignore as a hater or counterargue if you can. | ||
