It seems as well that it doesn't take as long to finish a game when a team gets a very big advantage, games are way too long in lol for me. However gameplay wise it might be because I'm a noob but the game seems a bit shallow, and sometimes there are way too many effects on screen which makes the game very hard to read (especially this monkey god that sends fireworks everywhere >_<). I'd be interested to hear what more experienced players think about it.

Also, people who aren't quite used to the whole 'MOBA in 3rd person' thing yet, probably don't know how to juke while running away. People just run away in straight lines which is perfect for skillshots. I guess people think that if they can't see it, it's not happening. A bit like map awareness.

Having said that, during team fights in the jungle with all those narrow pathways and combined with all the crazy CC in this game, it becomes really hard to juke those skill shots. I think one reason people run in a straight line is because you run much slower if you use strafe keys (a,d). I find that I can escape from almost any fight in this game as long as I just run home without looking back. They should increase movement speed while strafing/attacking to make it harder for people to run away imo. Also the hero balance seems pretty off atm. Artemis ulti is extremely strong, and she is also easily the hardest hitter in the game right now. He Bo and Anubis have short range attacks for their main nukes, making them very vulnerable in most situations. All Anubis spells deal damage over time, and require enemies to remain in the area for a long time to do damage. The wind dragon guy seemed really strong, reliable long range nukes for pokes, and very strong aoe teamfight presence. I know it's just closed beta, so they will hopefully look at the balance before release. I think the game has potential, it's really fun. Shame you can't queue up as more than 3 players, I'd like to play with a full team to get some strategy going... It's to prevent premades stomping everything, but that already happens in all the other moba games so why change it in this one?

Yea that's a good point, but still, if I'm running away from a Ra, for example, I'll hold W and move my mouse left and right so I zig zag a bit, like you would in an FPS game running between cover. Also, if you listen carefully you can often hear the spell casts as they begin, which will give you enough time to change your course slightly.

Those narrow jungle paths are crazyyy. I picked up zeus to try him out and i got a penta kill kennen style. Then in the next fight Ra on the other team was like PRAISE THE SUN and got a penta... Silly narrow jungle lol. Still a fun game though ![]()
