The game was designed for controller, so if you have one, use a controller. The keyboard controls work well enough provided you have a standard keyboard, and can use it with both hands in a style similar to fps(by which I mean hit keys around wasd and the equivalent ijkl as is often done in fps, such as q,e,r,f,z,x,c without difficulty i.e. the keys around wasd and ijkl). Mouse is not recommended to use, though there is a mouse fix out there, don't know how well it works. | ||

My specs - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8400 @ 2.66GHz 3.3 gb of ram radeon hd 4830 Should I be having problems? The game is a little choppy, but not unplayable. Maybe there's something I can do to make the game run faster? | ||

That seems to actually help the framerate in some areas provided the resolution is not set too high for the system. Part of the issue with the port is that it's just not optimized for pc and thus will have some issues regardless of the system specs sometimes. The game only runs at 30 fps too, though there is a new mod working on that which looks promising. Your specs seem like they should handle the game, is it only the 30fps that is throwing you off, or is the choppiness more than just that? You can also turn off aa and motion blur to increase performance if you haven't already. | ||

Grass shield(just on my back) 2 handing Greatsword of Artorias not cursed Havel's Set Havel's Ring Wolf Ring run up attack roll away repeat lol, never stagger never again will i be stun locked perhaps later i'l derp around with hawk ring+Black Bow of Pharis+Feather Arrows although i think trying to bow everything will just make the game 100 times harder esp with bosses, not sure what armor i would want or even if it woudl matter if all i'm going for is to shoot from very far away. | ||

Ive made sure it wasnt my streaming. System is a 2500k overclocked with crossfire 7970's. I was going the DLC content, and in that big black cave all I got was 15 FPS the whole time. Very irritating. | ||

There are known bugs that makes the frame rate drop down to 15 fps. You can run through a area with 30 fps then start up the game a second time and get 15 in the same area. You can google it and get some suggestions of what you can try but I haven't seen a universal fix for this yet. | ||

My controls are a bit messed up compared to the ones I use with my ps3: "Use" button and "run" button have switched places and "menu" and "lock target" have switched places. After playing the ps3 version hundreds of hours I keep making annoying mistakes, although I´m slowly getting used to the controls. | ||

If you have Havel's Set on you may want to replace the Wolf Ring lol. That armor already has sooooo much poise. Though I've never tried it extensively against bosses, it might make some fights even easier when you can just swing for the fences and NEVER EVER stagger. | ||

You will have to use a xbox 360 controller emulator, just search for x360ce, that's what I'm using for my third party controller. You'll have to configure the buttons in that app as well. If the customization doesn't work you'll have to rename the dll to one of the other possible names for your controller. I was lazy and just made 3 copies and named them all the possible names when the customization didn't work at first. | ||
