Well I did say the Kings in 6 and lmao Flaccid. ;o

I only saw the replay once but that is a very marginal call on a 5-minute major, especially with the way the officiating has gone all playoffs long. Maybe a double minor, with Scuderi bleeding, OK, but a major is just... has anyone ever seen a game where one team gets a major penalty and still wins? I can't remember one. They must be pretty rare.

Congrats to the Kings on their 1st Stanley Cup in franchise history! Also nice in pulling it all together at the right time and going all the way as an 8 seed.

Last three teams to beat Vancouver in the playoffs have won the cup! Great statistic I just found out about lol!!!

Same with Philly '09-'11... and they had a chance this year too

and each of those champions had a harder time with a team other than Vancouver en route to their win.
Vancouver will have a better chance with Luongo gone.

To keep this thread alive for a bit longer, post some of your favorite moments from the season.
Here's a good one: http://video.blues.nhl.com/videocenter/console?hcatid=782&id=148863&navid=DL|STL|home
Jaroslav Halak returns to Montreal for the first time since his inspirational run in the playoffs, and blanks the home team 3-0.
The fans show one of the classiest moments in hockey by giving him a standing ovation as he leaves the ice. Much props to the Canadiens fans there! =D

NO.
We don't want Luongo. WE DON'T WANT LUONGO. X_X
|
So...I wonder if Luongo finally finds a new home today

Gary Bettman very carefully controls his public image.
Bettman is sending a message to Jamison and Glendale.

Yay the Oil got Yakupov.
Would have been better off with Murray. Stupid lottery win. No brainer choice by EDM but picking second w/o Yakupov on the board would advance the teams need on D. Now we have to pray for Justin Shultz. Those prayers will probably be answered though so thats good
