The Templar, Loners, and Mafia faction decided to invade the THO headquarters. Numbers were in our favor, about 2:1 advantage (I want to say we had about 15 on offense, about 7 on defense, give or take a couple for both sides) Defensive advantage was underestimated by everyone I believe, and not just the flat damage reduction % defenders get. It's a lot more difficult attacking someone else's castle than you'd think with them knowing the ins and outs, archers on walls raining arrows upon us, forced battles in chokes (reducing the effectiveness of our numerical advantage drastically). We reinforced as much as we could, using party teleport to get back on the front lines after every death, and ultimately won the field, destroying their farmland, but they made away with most of the spoils of war, taking lots of iron/diamond armor and weapons. The funniest, and also saddest moment of the whole ordeal for me was when we were trapped in one of their buildings as they flooded it with lava from the roof, and broke an opening in the side of the castle. Quickly, dozens of us tried to escape out the opening, including myself, only to fall into their lava moat (and consequently the 7 or 8 diamond swords I had in my inventory collected from both sides of the skirmishing were all destroyed in lava). TL:DR; A bunch of zerglings attacked zealots in a choke, and it didn't go very well for the zerglings =/. Were it up to me we would have ceased the attack after the 2nd or 3rd wave, but it was interesting nonetheless. It was very fun though, for me at least (for the most part), though I'm definitely ashamed at how badly we did in the war. GG

Attackers Defenders Loners THO Templar TGP Mafia Result : After a long and gruesome battle THO and TGP have sucessful defended the attack. Castualties : Attackers : 180 | 30 : Defenders Main source of damage for attackers : Diamond sword | Wheat : Defenders Report : Earlier in the day the leaders of Loners declared war upon THO after being put kill on sight by THO members, Loners then started talks within the alliance to declare an alliance wide war with the THO Clan. It was agreed that the Loners, Templars and Mafia factions would lay siege to the THO faction when the THO faction logged in with a few more members. When Leaders of Loners noticed that THO had <7 members we felt that we would go and attack, we amassed the alliance and began the charge towards THO's domain. Using enderpearls the Loners infiltrated the upper layer of the THO main base after noticing that there was no way of getting in via land. The alliance factions then teleported up towards the Loner scouts and began the battle for the upper layer of the THO base, after gradually pushing THO back to the ground floor the attackers then situated themselves in the throne room of the defenders. After pushing THO back slightly the attackers showed their presence in the courtyard and thus began the slaughter. THO showed major dominance in the battle with their secret weapon (Wheat, redstone and torches) After the attackers suicided multiple times on the scenery and teleported back many times they worked the defenders down to minus power, they went to spawn to save themselves dieing more. Unfortunatly the attackers were teleporting to a dead body (which was later found to be a bug, and teleport has since been removed) In the end THO managed to defend JUST and all factions involved pulled out. After battle report: All parties involved have agreed that restone, torches and wheat are an overpowered source of damage and were the sole reason that THO survived. ( this source of damage is rumored to be changed) Thanks everyone for such an epic battle, i hope to have many more in the future.

I would like to add a comment to this... there were so many bugs client side that there were issues for everyone, people were reporting on TS that people were glitched/lagged out, I myself were seeing players standing still but then seeing the same person in the distance, as if to be a clone but unable to attack them.

Our crops and redstone did not affect the outcome of the battle nearly as much as you portray.

I had just finished up in the kitchen, making a tea and grabbing some popcorn, when I sat down at my computer again. I watched IPL3 for a while before logging into Minecraft. I was mining, and from what I gathered, just one of my teammates, houkago was at our base. Lucky for us, that one pair of eyes were all we would need to save us from doom and destruction. "Templar is trying to get into our base." I /f home'd as quickly as I could, and my teammates eventually followed suit. I saw a cluster of nametags around our northern entrance and made my way to our main gate. Arrows whizzed past my head as I tried to get a proper count of their numbers. A few of my own arrows managed to drive the enemies back. "Loners is here. Loners is at our base. LONERS IS IN OUR BASE." And they were. Using their enderpearls as grappling hooks, they managed to haul themselves up to the top of our highest tower. A very helpful /ptp command granted their entire squadron to our base. With another /f home, I planted myself in what ended up being a pivotal position in defending Loners and Templar's combined onslaught. Arrows were fired from my bow, striking the faces of most of the encroachers. My teammates took positions on the ground, below the enemies, ready for when they might make their way down to engage us. A few of our own brave souls made their way upward on dirt pillars, and jumped headfirst into the fray. GenoLegend, master_garth, and Daiiiii were particularly devastating. Equipped with diamond swords, they quickly turned the tides of battle in our favour. The combined enemy legion, now backed into a disadvantageous position, tried to make their way down the tower they were fighting in. Unfortunately for them, they were forced to exit on ground level through a single-file doorway, which made them even more vulnerable to my arrows. By now, our would-be full army had assembled: several members of THO, a few allies from TGP, and the one-man faction, TeaTime. Despite our impressive roster of brave soldiers, we were severely outnumbered. However, our use of the terrain kept us in an advantagous position. Not even Sun Tzu could match our brilliance. We had lined the battlefield with redstone dust, which when broken by an enemy (and this happened very often) dealt an instantaneous 9-heart blow to their health. After driving the enemies off from the North and West faces of our base, we took a moment to recoup and assess our situation. That was quickly short-lived, as Mafia ended up declaring war with us, and joined in to help Loners and Templar in their tragic battle. =PART 2 COMING SOON= + Show Spoiler + Or not. God I fucking hate doing this anecdotal fantastical writing bullshit.

The benefits are Amazing, twice as large map. Forced larger factions that will both offer support to newer players Make the alliance hierchy soo much more interesting. Offer way more intriuging drama and diplomacy! Less safe-zones but increases player activity! Soo I hope All of you atleast put your Vote on how the future of our beautiful server will be :D Cause goddamn this is a Epic game.
