This is confusing. If you go BM all your auras are reserved from Life. So you don't stack auras. But if you mean you want to use BM support with your main skills that is a different story.
Also if you go elemental damage your life leech is useless as it depends on physical damage. Better to use life on hit then. But life on hit cannot keep up with damage in later levels.

He might want to do blood magic as a support on some of his attack skills instead of doing it as a passive. That would save his mana for aura(s).

More like Immortal Call uses Endu charges to make you immune to phys dmg, or Discharge uses all kinds of charges to deal dmg.

can anyone recommend me a fun build for whatever class that is fun to play? i'm hesitating on playing a dual wield duelist cause i'm gonna have to use dual strike/cleave from start to end which would be boring.

It depends: do you want to be a caster, using spells and crits and stuff with energy shield, do you want to be pure physical with life leech, or maybe some sort of hybrid? Depending on which one you can use different builds; shadow is fairly versatile.
Yes, you can play with friends and do the quests together. The system for it is pretty solid; you can help people on quests you've already one, take portals together to save scrolls, stack auras, and more. The mobs will have somewhat more HP, but with 2 people everything dies quicker.

A lightning strike build is a lot of fun. I'm not sure how nerfed it will be, but it is a very fun, effective spell that does huge AoE.

I'm personally using a 2H Mace RT Marauder, which is going to be super tanky. I'm primairly using ground slam though, which has a similar problem as cleave. I personally find it loads of fun though, and is great as a first character as it should be tanky enough to run through all the content, while maintaining good DPS.

Are there distinct servers? I was under the impression that even though there were different gateways, you could still play with people in other zones. Even if they are separate, I don't know if having separate ircs is good if we don't have such a large community.

Have you done a build w/o Unwavering Stance yet? That's something different I'm trying out, based on people saying that Armor scales off hard, and having that evasion is actually helpful.

Wasn't hit by any of the major nerfs, you get to shoot a bunch of daggers. Works well as a first character. Plus the guide is really well written out with gameplay videos and skill builds and stuff. Note that the passive tree links are probably going to be invalid when the tree gets updated in 4 hours.

I think you need a lot more armor now, I'm switching my marauder to 1-h+shield, getting a stupid amount of life, life regen and armor nodes. 4k granites plus needing a flash slot for quicksilver doesn't seem to cut it. Question is if I can move away from blood magic and use determination+grace(200dex = sadface)

Something like this seems more efficient. The reason is that 7(!) endurance charges combined with high armor will make you basically immune to physical damage. From the mechanics thread: + Show Spoiler +Endurance charges are related to the strength attribute and grant +5% physical damage reduction, and +5% to elemental resistances (fire, cold, and lightning) per charge. The physical damage reduction stacks with the damage reduction from armour, so that they are both applied at the same time. For example, if a monster deals 100 damage, and you have 10% DR from two endurance charges, and enough armour to prevent 30 of the 100 damage, the incoming damage would be reduced by 40. So, if your armor can block 250 of a 1000 hit, with 7 charges you'd only receive 400 damage. If you double your armor, your armor blocks 400, and you only take 250 damage.
The high resists from endurance are also much more important now that you'll want to stack chaos resist on your gear.

What mechanics thread are you referring to? I was under the impression that Armor scaled quite poorly into the endgame, as in the more damage a monster does, the more armor it ignores. so I'd rather just stack life, reducing the need for US, therefore allowing grace to give a decent chunk of evasion to the build. I could be totally wrong about this though; have only run US/IR builds in the past.
Also, I don't really get the use of the Weapon Elemental Damage cluster in a GS build. You're spending 3 points for 50% elemental damage; that's ~16.7% weapon elemental damage per point.
assmuing you have an maxed Added Fire damage, 16.7% of 40% is only 6.7% increased damage per point. Even with Anger on that hardly seems like a good enough investment.

Two of them are travel nodes, so taking the 30% makes sense. It's either that or grab two Armor&/ES nodes. If you ever use glacial hammer (pretty good with elemental proliferation) or lightning strike, they're worth it. Or if you team up with someone running either Anger+Wrath or Hatred. You'll also have some flat elemental damage on your gear for most of the game. As for Armor scaling poorly, that is correct, unless you stack endurance charges, in which case you get linear or even increasing return. Edit: THE mechanics thread.

Thanks for the link. I didn't really consider using Glacial Hammer. Does it work as a full Heavy Strike replacement?
e: I'm having trouble understanding Evasion. Do monsters have their own accuracy rating? Thus, would evasion become worse and worse as monsters become higher levels unless you similarly up your evasion rating? Or does evasion rating give a flat chance to evade?

My tanky/wand/totem/spoon and fork templar, hoping to have high enough mana to run many auras also have all the power charges and has Conduit to share them, im also near a frenzy and endurance charge incase i should decide to spec for discharge might be good with the conduit I would also drop spork and fork for discharge and go for elemental dmg rather than just lightning. Can anyone give any input I think this will be my starting build. + Show Spoiler +
