Does it work as a full Heavy Strike replacement? e: I'm having trouble understanding Evasion. Do monsters have their own accuracy rating? Thus, would evasion become worse and worse as monsters become higher levels unless you similarly up your evasion rating? Or does evasion rating give a flat chance to evade? Yes, monsters have accuracy and you need to keep your equipment upgraded to evade well. But same is with armor, maybe even worse as bigger the difference between damage of enemy and your armor rating your armor absorbs less damage. And with Arrow Dodging (best reason to go evasion) even with weaker evasion then average for monsters at certain level you are still almost immune to arrows.

1- They increased the accuracy of ranged mobs, so arrow dodging won't be as good without real evasion gear. 2- Evasion has built-in diminishing return. If you double your armor and the monster doubles his damage, you will block the same % of damage as you did before. If you double your evasion and the monster doubles his accuracy, you'll only have ~90% of the chance to evade you had before. That's part of the reason why Evasion passives are really bad without Iron Reflexes. Not only are they less effective because you already have a good increase to evasion from Dex, but there's also diminishing return. The upside to evasion is that Enfeeble lowers the monster accuracy as well as damage, and Blind also lowers their chance to hit (though I'm not sure exactly how this works, but I know it simply doesn't work with Unwavering Stance or against Resolute Technique). Arrow Dodging is also grossly overpowered, but hasn't been nerfed yet because evasion is pretty bad without it.

(Please specify timezone as well). 3hours, says so on the website. okay so im cross posting this from my post the PoE threads I got the discharge idea from this build of the week video Witch version + Show Spoiler + Templar version + Show Spoiler + Im not sure which build to start off with and what the main differences between the two are. I wanted my build to have more hp/es for survivability and I think the templar might do it but idk... I need feedback to finish the build anything would be greatly appreciated !

Looks like a fun build, but imo would be tough as a first character. Especially now that diamond flasks are 86'd for a rework, it appears extremely gear dependant. Of the three, I'd imagine shadow would work best with easy access to crit nodes, especially without optimal gear.

I think this build would be hard mainly because the skills that are needed to grant charges arent that good. I was thinking enduring cry for endurance, frenzy(or just blood rage buff) for frenzy charges and power charges from power siphon but it would be a little awkward going around using these 3skills that would be rather weak for me then doing a powerful aoe attack every 10seconds or so. If only there was a power charge skill that was actually good at doing dmg.. or a buff rather I can just have on because idk how using power siphon as the main attack will do.. they would also accumulate rather slowly compared to frenzy and endurance charges

It seems like the dmg output will be good and will have okay res but I have a feeling you might die easily

The CI keystoe passive doesn't, but they have added more nodes for ES, so it basically is a larger investment of amount of skill points now (if I understand the changes correctly).

No, that's not true. That was an old alpha version of the passive tree. Posters on their forum hinted that the OB will NOT have bonus ES passives like you saw.

I thought it was just that the current nodes with +es are buffed but either one is good. I like the idea in investing more points into like hp. It might be viable to get CI since you can get around the same amount of ES from the nodes themselves(probably less but still good). I would recommend getting CI towards the end and trying to judge if the trade of hp for CI is worth it.

Edit: Wow, webserver crash already xD Wonder if that has anything to do with the installer freezing at 75% on 'Allocating Space' for the last 10 minutes...
