I saw they reverted Archmage nerfs from several leagues ago and not it scales again only with maximum mana (and not mana cost). That is cool, I've not played Archmage since they changed it so I will play a hierophant mana build for sure. I still don't which skill to choose, maybe blade vortex or ball lightning. | ||

Atlas changes look great and t-17 maps are the shit. With witch getting part two voices I'm thinking dd in some variant. | ||

If this league has any of that, I can see the experience being fucking miserable. Dying because a dangerous mod rolled on to a dangerous mob as part of a constant rolling effect pool might be a real issue. | ||

I feel the archmage buff might actually deter me from playing a mana build again, theres so much hype for it from so many streamers that i`m a bit scared i`d be competing with half the playerbase for gear  Necro does look nice though, and would be kind of "on brand" for the league. And the leech should work as instant leech with leech mastery afaik (if you even take it now and not just skip the bone armour node completely) I`m also having a look at the new poison concoction version, the fact that it starts at 30% of flask recovery as chaos on the one screenshot i saw is kinda crazy considering the normal one is 12% or so on a lvl 20 gem. Lots of options, as usual :D | ||

I think archmage will be fine in the midgame, its mainly the top end gear / uniques that will be tough to get personally im going meta slave once again, coc dd inquis looks too fun to pass up | ||

For about a week or two, half my right arm was basically all shades of purple. The easiest things didnt really work, like... putting on socks, or moving the car a few meters to another parking spot because i needed both arms to kinda put it in reverse ... I did manage to play a little bit of LE even in last couple of day, but not that much. I didnt watch anything and just played some selfmade ignite sorcerer. Is coc dd really that meta ? It does sound a lot of fun for sure. | ||

Well, if I play it will be casual anyways and this just means it will be extra casual. Staying behind the curve in these types of situations often means you can snack some juicy equipment for cheap from the market when people scrap their "mediocre" stuff. I enjoy the short breaks to decide on what happens next. | ||

I've seen lot of people plan to go for Mjölner and triggering a skill with cyclone CwC. I don't know, I would like to try self cast... Maybe something crazy like "icenova of frostbolt" with Pledge of Hands and archmage. But probably a bad idea because the mana cost and such. I will think about it the next days. Maybe at the end I will play meta (it seems Mjölner with Indigon). | ||

Defensively I think you can get a lot of value out of just -100% cost, high mana pool, mana master(ies) to recover mana, and/or some damage recouped as mana mana. It's a pretty small leap from what you're already doing and gets back a lot of the mana for your pool without having to hard scale mana regen that you don't otherwise need. I'm still undecided on my plan. I might still do Storm Brand as a league starter just to do it, then reroll into a Lightning Strike build of some sort. I don't think I want to force LS as the starter. | ||
