Zerphis change looks killer? But no nerfs to Poets Pen or anything. Cool that they want to keep/encourage the "cast on other effect" type gameplay with the CoC and Mjolnir and etc. buffs rather than nerfing PP and such. No arc changes either.
Surprisingly light-handed Inpulsa nerf. Weren't most builds that really abused it adding a bunch of base damage to the explosions with stuff like Esh's Mirror and Stormfire, rather than relying on the monster's life?

Does that Carcass Jack buff achieve much in the way of anything w/the way AOE works since the change? Mightn't be the worst to target-farm div cards in SSF while accumulating rings for Loreweave if it's a decent QoL to clear.

Doryani's Fist now adds (150-225) to (525-600) (down from (225-335) to (785-900)) Lightning Damage to Unarmed Attacks, and (90-135) to (315-360) (up from (60-90) to (210-240)) Lightning Damage to Spells while Unarmed. The Doryani's Touch skill granted by Doryani's Fist can now hit up to 50 Enemies per skill use, up from 20, has 20% more Area of Effect, now costs 8 Mana instead of 28, and can no longer be Evaded. It now has 50% less Attack Speed (down from 30%), 600% Added Damage Effectiveness (up from 350%) and now converts all Physical Damage to Lightning (up from 50%).
Occultist has so friggin' many good nodes now, I kind of wish they'd collapsed the ES or Curse branches into single notables. I want like twice as many nodes as I can get from that ascendancy!
*edit* Do we know what all three new ailments are? Scorch is one, from that unique that was posted. Is Impale an ailment? Do we know of a third yet?

Here's a 5 minute uber elder kill pre mjol buff with a retarded death in between, and not enough cdr to make a difference. Multiply the discharges per second by 2.5 and get rid of the death and it's probably a 2:30 uber elder kill. Shield charge + discharge on hit will always be amazing for map clear too.

Yeah I have no feel for how that translates to MS replacing Cyclone (probably not much different, but why one vs the other), and also Indigon change.
I'm not even sure how crits work with MS. It seems like a good candidate for CoC synergy but are the crits on each ball decided individually? Or when you first hit and it rolls crit do ALL those balls that come from that hit also crit simultaneously? I assume it's the former or MS + CoC wouldn't even be particularly special
Hmm, I don't think it will affect it too badly. Previously you had to attack for 15 seconds straight to get to 2000% increased spell damage, and that just doesn't occur. If he averaged more than 500% increased I'd be shocked, and I'm honestly not convinced it's even that big a deal to use it given the changes to proc rate.

The balls don't hit simultaneously (i'm 99% sure of this), and crit chance is decided at the attack point. On second thought, ms isn't that big a deal for this particular build.

btw there are those new"+x% to chaos dmg Dot multiplier" modifiers at the usual chaos dmg clusters that u can take to mitigate the nerf. so its not really a heavy nerf
Hmm, how big is the mjolnir buff? Indigon got hit, and the buff on mjolnir doesn't seem huge, but I don't know. The issue I always had with it was the damage just wasn't very good. Also no cospri's buffs. Not sure what I want to play now, maybe just regular poets pen and then switch into some king of CoC or mjolnir build/alt?
Tried it with 20/20 in a +3 elder thicket w/ attack speed vs quill rain current and it felt fine. wont be doing any agony crawler stuff but still viable im sure. killed shaper pretty quick.
Man, sucks that Chin Sol was used with Ele Hit. I didn't think about that. I planned using a Ascendant with Chieftain/Hierophant and using Siege Ballista. What I ended up doing in PoB had like 400+k shaper dps per Ballista (with totem res, so I think they wouldn't die so easily) with 4 Ballistas limit and 6k life with totem leech and decent regen. While the Chin Sol nerf still makes it BiS for boss apparently, it makes me not want to play it, lol. Like -100k dps per Ballista now (and ofc only at close range, the long range dps is a lot worse).
