Fun challenge for sure! I was hoping we'd have more players to get some trading/small economy going, but the league was quite tough. My gear was absolute garbage as I'm awful with crafts/SSF (something I'm going to learn while waiting for / during Betrayal)
Eventually died to lich fight in abyss. Was so lusty for some upgrades. :p I had 3 ex and some nice fossils but couldnt get high ilvl bases
See you all in Betrayal, I'm probably starting in SC and moving to HC in some priv leagues later. (Maybe we get a TL one again later in the season...?)
Having a blast with the game , started my second char , toxic rain + Agony , quite fun , but I have to admit I don't think my crawler is doing much , maybe he does in boss fights ? he seems pointless most of the time because until he shoots something Its already dying to poison , being having a blast with the bow instead of the Arc lightning (which is a bit boring as I don't aim at anything). Will probably run the Enkis Arc as. a starter for 3.5 unless the patch will have some OP starter build to get things going. I will not play HC anytime soon probably , as I am not good enough nor did I get passed map 5 yet in this game , which I feel I need to do before going HC. The game is very time consuming , I am sinking tons of hours into it , wife is not happy AT ALL as my daily computer consumption was limited to watching some Dota every now and again and Xcom2 very rarely. You guys know what you going to start with on 3.5 ? or waiting for the patch ?
Well, I created some builds in Path of Building and so far I'm liking the idea of a Winter Orb Hierophant. But it all depends on the final stats of Winter Orb (and other skills) and therefor I'm ultimately waiting for the patch notes as well as skill gem information.

There's already a (bad) video for Storm Brand (see below), and while it looks cool, the guy couldn't stop casting Arc probably because it's more of a support skill. I have no idea about the specifics of it, like if it has a limit of Brands you can cast, similar to Orb of Storms.

That was my plan for upcoming league as well
If you decide to play it, I will ask you your PoB so I can see how you did it and improve upon it
Trying to decide if I'll play SSF again - hit ~33 challenges, stopped playing for a month and couldn't find the will to live to finish them in SSF so transferred over to to Delve SC and Quateras/WoolloomoollooReBf helped me out - cheers. Definitely not playing a DoT-based build in Betrayal if they're putting in a bunch of conditional boss-kill achievements, as not being able to stop DPS to wait for 9 pillars or four totems/pyramids etc is no fun.
Never played Blade Vortex, so if it doesn't get nerfed I might start the league with a Chieftain; maybe farm Sulphur Vents and see if I get any interesting build-enabling jewels from div card turnins / farm the gear for a HoWA Occultist. Had a quick muck-around to initially see if I could run Marauder SRS up to normal lab / Spell Echo for BV (as most guides seemed to suggest leveling as Sunder, which I'm a little sick of, and SRS takes advantage of the Inc Duration nodes you'd grab as BV and is v.gear agnostic w/the +1 fire scepter/wand craft), but actually found running BV-Onslaught-Added Fire from ~L12 wasn't that bad, and it's not toooo much of a chore at league-start to mule a Witch to Merveil for BV instead of to Mud Flats for SRS (or Brutus for Added Minion Damage etc).
I'm definitely starting with a pure phys zombie + skeleton summoner. It was super cheap/easy to get started and while the leveling with SRS was a bit annoying (as was Delve, which I really like), it really came together once I got to level ~70-80 or so and got the one unique item that sped things up greatly (Victario's Charity, with Necromantic Aegis). I played up until level 80 or so pretty much as if it was SSF and enjoy the pace/effort/risk involved with the build for my lazy, relatively solitary approach to the game.
