Hey guys ! Im pretty new to POE but plateforme the game solo or with Casual friends .

Im about to restant playing the game and wanted to mâle à ranger so i tought "hey why not look online for à guide". Pretty Much all guide are showing really good équipment that i never even see before xD and cost X amount pf chaos orb ?

As a Casual should Who dont see himself grinding to get all the OP stuff. Do you have any suggestions ?

Grinding is a very big part of the game. If you dont like it or feel you have time for it... eh youll either make time for it or quit.
Its still worth it to play through and enjoy though.
Any buildguide titled ssf or starter generally have much lower gear requirements, as they are designed for a setting with low or no trading. Also, most builds have only a few required items to make it start working, but then a few thresholds where it starts to get good, feel good and OWNAGE.
If youre returning to the game like this, id recommend a build that gets to feel good early. Ive heard good things about the guardian dominating blow summoner.

Once you get to endgame you start ramping up on the amount of currency you get.

I can understand how they feel. For me this league is shitty. I was burned out from mapping last league already. I already decided to skip this league but GGG came out with Delving as "alternative to mapping" or at least that is how I understood it (or hoped). But now, now we get Standard level mapping (= low map drops) and need to grind Delves as well to catch up to our map grind.

And now I am lvl 93, I did barely any map trading, I have already unlocked most of T11, many T12, some T13 and T14 and 1 T15. But in Delve I am still at t9 level and I have been using most of my Sulphite to go down and down so I can find those cities that will drops the mystical red maps. All I found so far are two cities, one got me some white maps and another some yellows. And a few tier 1 maps dropped from enemies in other non city areas.

So "fun"... I think I am skipping next league for sure and there is no way I am doing this league flashback or whatever shitty short league they are going to come up with.

Also, some good singleplayer RPGs are coming out soon so I can put this shitty league on pause.

Also2, I have not even talked about how they released this league in beta state and they are still tweaking it...

The way it now seems to be balanced is sort of like "one maps worth of sulphite will give you enough fuel to do one 'move' in the mine". Mathematically that makes some sort of sense, but the rewards from one single Delve don't feel on par with one single map, in my opinion at least. So it makes delving feel much slower now. One map's sulphite -> 3-4 short delves probably would feel better, at least now while it's new and the thing everyone wants to do idk (if/when it goes core they can really fuck with it who cares). I'm also not delving at a T16 level or anything so maybe down there the rewards ARE more proportional to or better than one T16 map idk.

The variance of the mine between characters is really weird to me still. On my league starter char I found 6-7 of the vaal city areas (each with probably 4-5 actual nodes in them) on my way delving down to only like depth 150 or so. And on both of my subsequent characters I never found any. That feels weird. There's been so much discussion and lore this league about RNG things being seeded by character ID or whatever that really makes you wonder sometimes. But it could just be variance too. Probably more likely. The "outrage" about certain people never finding Prime resonators or delve bosses or whatever is one thing, rare stuff can be rare that's fine, even in a limited time league. But there's been so much discussion about character-based seeding and attempts to tinker/patch stuff that I have to take all variance regarding mine stuff with a grain of salt now lol.

At this point I don't even care about 4 slot resonators or Delve bosses (just like Abyss league I don't expect to see more than one anyways), I just want more map drops so I don't need to farm T10 and T11 maps for sulphite.

Incursion was a huge step forward for GGG, even with Temple runs becoming boring and irritating fairly fast (except for maps I rarely got anything useful from them, especially for time invested). I was really hoping they would learn from it and now only improve going forwards but while Incursion was 2 steps forward, 1 step back, this league is 1 step forward and 2 steps back (with Bestiary being 3 steps back).

I've read a better rule. Always only look at the rooms that potentially take the most of the "empty spots" (aka where there's no way and nothing else). In your case I would've only checked the armoury thing, the one where you were and the "contains items" rooms. At least that rule helped me find secret rooms much easier. Still yours is a tough one.

Just use the items you find, it's that simple

And if you feel like you need a guide, pick one that does not require specific items. On ssf hc you can easily complete the acts 1-10 and halfway through Atlas maps without any grinding (I have no experience past that point). Should be the same for other modes too.

Could someone please explain to me the Scion Ascendancy? Am i reading that correctly that after the standard labyrinth you get 40 of a base stat and a passive point and after the cruel lab you get nothing and then you can pick a bad version of another classes ascendancy class? I would kinda see woth in it, if with 4 points you would get the starting point of a class and one of those ascendancy bonuses but getting this for 6 points seems like a joke. Especially as the starting area of the scion seems weak to me as well. I thought about building a scion because they seem incredibly rare but i guess they are so bad that not only a moron like me would build them for the funsies....

Edit: ah, it looks like the class node does not actually take an ascendancy point, this makes it a bit better, but still meh.
