What maps did you run to 100? Mucking around with a bunch of builds in Standard rummaging through a mess of remove-only tabs and dusty characters with free passive tree resets to figure out how I feel about the playstyle before committing in a new league (not a fan of recasting BV though might see how the reduced stack size feels on an existing character once the patch hits; managed to get a BBBGGR Death's Oath to test out a life-based Trickster variant; had a go levelling 46-70ish with BF/Reave claw Scion, which might be the pick). | ||

As for my Flashback experience, my own Trickster almost hit lvl 91. I only played 1-2 hours per day, a bit more over weekends. My survivability was good (5100 life, 3300 mana, MoM, Acro and phase Acro) but my dps was not good enough for red maps with SR. Got myself Balefire early and never moved past it. 6L Cloak of Defiance would have cost me at least 5ex and I didn't feel like getting it (also it would only raise my dps from 200k to 300k). I probably should have done Blade Vortex instead. | ||

Traps are tempting, bows are (as always) tempting, even flame blast totems are tempting. I wonder if Incinerate max block cybil's is a reasonable idea, that would probably the most oldschool choice. | ||

Really what's absurd about it is the number of different insane buffs they had to give it to make it try to compete with KB, which is probably still better. | ||

The autotarget thing is most interesting to me. I always wanted the homing arrow from D2 in PoE. It is a wand but still kind of similar :D | ||

I agree, Power Siphon looks it could be really fun and I'm hyped for the video about it tomorrow. I thought about Lightning Trap, in Ziggy's vid I wasn't too impressed. I think Lightning Trap Deadeye with chain could be fun with Sunblast + 2 Cheap Construction. Another idea would be Mirror Arrow trapper, I think that one got nicely buffed as well. | ||

I'm wondering how high I should prioritize a MS build, shieldcharge might get annoying in the expansion content. e: Holy shit that Arc buff. That is tempting as hell too. But prolly best as a trapper anyway. | ||
