Kinda want to do a build with a league specific unique (since they're fairly common atm), it looks like it might have potential with abyss jewels and such
It's very fun. Previously there were 2 problems to solve: how to deal with reflect and how to move around. I used totem for problem 1 but that is no longer needed cause problem 1 does not exist anymore.
Problem 2 can be solved by going Raider or Pathfinder instead of Inquisitor, it's up to you.
Something like Raider Avatar of Slaughter/Chase + Shroud seems pretty sweet to me right now.

DPS on paper should be good but attack speed is so slow, it is not easy to clear maps.
I tried Inquisitor with Warchief totems and Inquisitor Cyclone.

Trypanon Raider with Earthquake seems like a fun idea. Probably even quite good, except EQ feels so much worse than in it's prime.
|
Maybe using essence gloves for more attack speed is what is needed to make it work.

If you gotta go fast Cyclone Raider with Shroud of the Lightless is the way, can't go wrong.

So, on the way to wasting all my currencies, I accidentally lucked a thing... + Show Spoiler +
Not certain how to proceed from here. Current plan is to buy an imprint beast recipe, regal, whiff and waste everything doing that step over and over. But any help is appreciated, never crafted from alt, any stat stick, or something nearly this valuable.

So is there an actual reason to do the pale court? It seems like the best item from them is 40C, the second best is ~20C, and then the others are basically trash. Meanwhile the keys are more than 30C.
I'm kind of tempted to do it for novelty's sake, since I've never done it, but lighting currency on fire isn't super fun.

Hard to give up inquisitor 100% pen on crit. Just so much damage.

Ignoring resistances is a very different thing from 100% penetration.

for the prophecies themselves I only bother doing the one that can give you the chaos mace (breath of the council iirc). the one that gives you the minion glove isn't bad either

I know that technically in POE-speak it doesn't, but it's just less awkward phrasing than saying 'I love how it sets enemy resistances to zero'.
You can alternatively go raider or whatever else stack ele pen/ reduction, but I feel like on average it takes a lot more investment to reach the same damage. By going inquisitor you can focus on other sources of damage increase, which is much more flexible and I think has a higher maximum if you dump a bajillion exalts into it.
I'm doing an ele claw inquisitor right now, I do think it's stronger than the trypanon + marylene's, anyways.

After some analysis, it seems like the imprint recipe is the hardest to come by so far, down there with the Cat Boss. Even the Watchers for the split recipe are several times more common. If a magical imprint costs a few exalts, it's not much of a bargain...
On another note, the new "create a 6L item" recipes seem very easy to fill as long as you're playing ilvl 80+ maps. They use mods that were mostly useless before, so expect a flood of ilvl 80+ 6L bases in the near future, made even easier by nets now auto-aiming for rares in the middle of a pack.

So GGG released what beastcrafting recipes were being used pre-3.2.1.
Some amusing portal numbers:
41,361 portals have been opened to the Spirit Realm, with the following breakdown: Saqawal's Roost: 22,136 Craiceann's Cove: 12,785 Fenumus' Lair: 5,025 Farrul's Den: 1,415
If you can capture the Spirit Beast in these fights, you can craft its Aspect onto an item. So far this has been done 3,180 times: Aspect of the Avian: 1,984 Aspect of the Crab: 849 Aspect of the Spider: 224 Aspect of the Cat: 123
Basically, it seems like there's more of those weird corrupted super items with like +87 molten strike projectiles out there than Aspect of the Cat items, which is absolutely hilarious.
I do feel bad that I'm one of those 12,785 portals to Crabman and I was easily soloing the fight until the last phase, when I tp'd out to get my super nets (which I had forgotten) and returned to be killed over and over because the ground is even more of a clusterfuck than a usual GGG boss fight...and died to the boss the second after I killed him...without netting him.

that sucks
better that than me wasting the portal crab on some other recipe xD
I'm not sure how I feel about trading for beasts. I snagged some cheap lvl70 Craicic Presences (7c) but I'm not sure who got the better end of the deal... hard to determine the value of these things

I expect Gem Frogs to go down in price as they seem at least twice as common as Watchers for the Split recipe, and the 3 others for Imprint (Sea Witch, Vassal and Maw) are also several times easier to find, so likely not worth much. But most of them can also be used in the 30% recipe. It's really hard to keep track.

What does the imprint recipe do?

Makes an imprint (Eternal orb copy) of a magic item So basically an eternal orb but limited to blue items cuz its OP for rare crafting.

I don't have a clue how that works and I never used or even saw Eternal Orbs (I know they existed). You make like a restore point for item or something? You can make changes to it and then go back to what you imprinted or what?
Or it works similar to a Mirror?
