Non crit character using Arc in one Pen, I will have 100% chance to shock and 152% shock effectiveness which brings base 20% bonus damage of elementalist to 50%. I shock everyone with Arc and finish them off with Glacial Cascade (or Storm Call). Since character only needs a 4L to activate spells from Pens you can go all out defense in body slot (like Kaom's) or shock offense/defense (like I plan to) with Impulsa and Mind of the Council on head slot. Since character also does some cold damage all hits are automatic 13% chills. If this character works (and it should according to PoB) this would be my fun mapping character to use on days when uber lab is bad to run with my Jugg. | ||

And if I get one abyss jewel that will give me some fire damage I can also ignite them for additional 5% CoC version sounds good for crit version of the the build which mine is not. What ascendancy did you use? Were you able to do Guardians easily? What were your defenses (in addition to MoM)? | ||

I used Ascendant Assassin/Pathfinder, obviously not a good option since 3.2 Defences were Acro, Vaal Grace, perma flasks and infinite MoM mana via Mind of the Council. I kinda quit last league early but I don't see any reason you couldn't do guardians easily. | ||

I started mapping and everything went awesome, i made quick progress to t10 (orchard) and then? Over 8h of playtime more and no red map.. I think 1 other t10 (not even sure). So i spend tons of time filling out lower maps i missed due to rng... 6h later. Still nothing. I did like 15 vaults because thats like the only t9 i get... WTF... I never had this issue before. Sustaining redmaps whiteout buying would have been hard, but harbinger currency made it easy, but this? My Char would probably be Guardian ready but i just can't... I can't even progress... I did Orchard like 6 times... (No map trading involved obviously) | ||
