Isn't it really popular with EK builds that use full conversion and therefore scale with spell/ele dmg? That's why I was curious. The details of conversion and what applies when are still a bit iffy for me because I've done mostly melee phys builds. | ||

Yeah of course, they put physical to lightning in the helm with gmp and volley/lmp to greatly increase clear speed. Spiritburst doesn't do much for attack build though obviously. | ||

Getting red tier shaper orbs seems to be a huge hassle this league and I haven't seen people selling them at all in the past few days... Edit: How does the shaper orb progression work precisely? I've seen people claim that you cannot obtain a tier x shaper orb if you have not unlocked all shaper orb tiers lower than x (i.e. if you don't have a tier 8 shaper orb but clear a tier 10 that can drop a shaber orb you will get the tier 8 one). Is this bound to the atlas of the map owner? In other words, can you buy a t14 shaper orb from somebody who's meeting the above requirements? | ||

Getting your Shaper's Orbs this league is definitely hard this league, you need to push Elder influence to the higher maps over and over. Though I did it pretty quickly by buying the maps needed. Like I got one at Promenade, then pushed him back there. After that I completed Racecourse, where the next Shaper's Orb was afterwards, etc... | ||

I had no clue What I meant was: If somebody has a map set up to drop a shaper orb apparently all people in the map will get a memory fragment if they don't have a shaper orb of that tier yet. At least people have been selling the kills claiming you can get the orb this way. But apparently what I said earlier is true, i.e. you will get the highest shaper orb that you have not received yet if the the qualifying map has higher tier. | ||

Eh is there any reason whatsoever to use storm burst over lightning tendrils, other than maybe range? (I'm thinking about a cwc magma orb elementalist. my idea from the start was that both bagma borb and stors bors are projectile, aoe skills with similar cast times, so they would benefit greatly from EE and having similar support gems.) | ||
