I'd like to know how you amassed a fortune. I thought I was doing ok this league but my net worth is only maybe 40-50 ex spread among 3 characters, and that might be too generous also.

I got over 40ex in a single day of lab runs (tbf, it was the best 3.0 layout I've seen). Basically no-lifed the first two weekends (and more or less quit after that).

Really don't know what to do with more wealth, as I don't particularly like rerolling, but I didn't plan that far ahead.

I basically missed the first week of playing due to work/irl commitments on the weekend, made two characters and got them to 70 before deciding to reroll and now have enough to buy a headhunter on top of what I linked before.

In all honesty the goal is to get like 1kex and call it a day for poe, forever. Also farming shaped vaults on my windripper guy was easy, can't wait to try it out on someone that one shots screens.

Labbed on a ngamahu's slayer until I had about 10-12 ex, got a 6link windripper and two 10quant ventors, put on the +1 chain elder amulet, sadimas, goldwyrm, biscos leash, and then undid every t3 except burial chambers, farmed up two doctors and replaced my amulet with a biscos, farmed some shaped vaults and now I have currency.

At 70+ quant the amount of loot that drops is unreal, I'd get about 30 chaos spare then run fortune favors the bold every single map. It takes about 100 6 sockets to get 1 ex, this more then covers the costs of maps + zana - everything else is profit. I wouldn't sextant the t3, I would get the strictest loot filter you can get. Don't pick up anything worth less then an alch/fuse/chaos depending on how much currency you have. Atm I don't pick up anything worth less then a chayula splinter.

Also, do yourself a favour and get a quad stash tab or two. Alch up like 20 maps at a time, run them, and dump everything you loot into those tabs, clear them out when you need currency to do more maps. Eventually you'll have enough chaos sitting in your stash to not have to clear them out more then once a day.

Next step is zana 8 - then it's just breaches + shaped vaults until 99, before I run however many chayula breaches to get to 100, which is the goal for me this league.

Interesting, I wouldn't have thought of doing that. I just rushed up the map tiers as fast as I could on ngamahus slayer and selling any maps that I could afford to sell and not screw myself over that were also at least 1c each which made a decent amount of currency, as well as running some guardians and selling the fragments and any extra red maps I could. Certainly wasn't a money making machine like you though lol.

Is that build (ngamahu's slayer duelist) still profitable this late in the season? I wouldn't mind trying it out. Also, from your own personal experience, can it go late into the game for chimera, shaper, t16 maps?
I'm a bit burnt out on my firestorm witch right now but i've learnt a lot of the game's basics from getting her to T10 maps. I definitely could go higher if I started investing my chaos/ex orbs into proper gear, but i feel nausea from all the firestorms on the screen. She was mostly SSF and I had fun with that.

But now I kinda want to try something different with either a duelist, a scion or a ranger.
Maybe you guys could suggest a build for those characters that is still beginner friendly and could work on a low budget?
I don't mind farming/grinding later, but getting there with low cost is my priority.

You can definitely do all the guardians and shaper with ngamahus. It won't melt shaper like some really expensive builds but it can absolutly kill him. And ngamahus can be fairly low budget. The neck is the expensive part but you don't need it, it's just nice to have. Also you don't need 6l, 5l is plenty.

Also, howany burial chambers did you hsve to run before you got a doctor? I've been messing around a bit on my wr raider , with 51 quantity plus wind ripper plus the quantity flask, not sure if it's been really worth the time compared to just running higher tier maps with normal gear.

Lol really?
It is nothing special.
It only has one important T1 mod. Accuracy is low value mod and all res is cool but not that awesome.

Intuitively I'd put that ring at 30-45c in HC. It's T1 accuracy, 50+ res, T1 life and Coral Base is one of the few spots where you can actually get more life once you're all geared up (apart/in addition to more Strength).

Sure there's better stuff around but this is still definitely sellable. If you look at search for similar stuff I'd value it a bit below stuff that has Str instead and is on a "real" base. Don't think you can get more than ~40-50c in SC for that kinda thing, simply because most people would rather have more DPS on a ringslot.

Never underrate high accuracy on a decent ring, you really need a few pieces like that in attack based crit builds.

e: I'm dumb, has a prefix open for dmg. Can maybe squeeze a bit more.

I don't see someone paying that amount for it unless he gets lucky and finds that one guy that needed these stats specifically. As you said, on SC people look for offense rings, this one is not that. It is also not that awesome defense ring. If that cold res was 40% or more than it could be worth it.

But it does not cost him to start with 40 or 50c and lower it by 5c every few days.

Would you run fortune favors the bold on burial chambers? Also would you quantity them? I tried it for a few hours last night on my wind ripper alt, found a lycosidae which was a pretty good find but other than that not sure how profitable it really was compares to normal mapping. I've mostly been picking up jewelry and some rares for the unid chaos recipe, and currency/maps. Counting the lycosidae I got about 3 ex 150c out of running for about 3ish hours

Run until you get couple of doctor I think, which would take around 15 hours or so I presume ?

I stacked all perfect quant gear and ran it till I got 2 doctors, and I used fortune favours the bold.

I'm gonna run it for another doctor while I get my current character up enough levels, then I'm going to look at shaping and farming some different maps.

Thing about farming burial chambers is it's all or nothing, if you don't want to sit through the grind, look for another strat - there isn't much else happening in that map, shit blocking so you can't sextant, and no other div cards of note.
