What's a bit diffucult right now is using the keyboard for spam halfmoon moves, i can do it, but feels unnatural and i tend to do a lot of mistakes. Is the PS3 joypad way better for this? haven't tryed yet, still confused about how to bind 6 different kicks\punch on the 4 main buttons of the joypad (assuming the triggers are there for the "macros"?). Is really a dedicated joystick needed? because ofc i don't have it. Or should i try Charge characters for the keyboard? It's all about getting used to the control medium you choose. Typically if a person uses a controller, they map Light and Medium buttons to the four face buttons and the two Heavy buttons to right bumper and right trigger. A lot of people use keyboards/hitbox-type setups too. It's really just personal preference and getting comfortable with whatever you use. Arcade sticks are fun, but you should ask yourself if the $100+ investment is worth it for you. Will you continue playing SF? Will you play other fighting games maybe in the future? Could you use it for any other computer games that you play? Ask yourself things like that to see if an arcade stick is a good investment for you, because it should last you a long time and you'd want to make the best use out of it.

She has very fast walkspeed and long range normals. She has some issues with characters falling out of her moves and weird hitboxes and hurtboxes in general though, it feels like she's not a very complete or well-made character. What? Dat damage O_O here are some more shitty combos Here are her more practical combos though (she still sucks) see she needs weird stuff to have any kind of advantage hahaha

I won 3rd Strike with Alex, and got 5th in the other games. Noone really used any ultra tech fortunately, except one guy in losers who used Decapre, I could beat her with Cody.

A little bit of my own Hugo. First upload I've tried with Ultra. I picked a replay showing that while it may be tough to get that hit, once you do Hugo's damage is stupid hah. I still have problems getting the right kick specials every time though.

For the record, getting a stick is 100% worth it, you can just get a cheap one to start with and put in the good stuff as needed. It's sweet for fighting games sure, but combined with MAME it'll basically turn your PC into an arcade cab also ![]()

It comes down to not messing up once you finally get in, because you might only get one chance. I think its a must to have the clap combo's down. They just do too much damage it makes Hugo very scary. The last time I played him I hit two different Sims back to back and I got frustrated haha. Had nooooo clue what to do. Once he gets in he's the most fun grappler imo. Every single hit is satisfying. By the way, about getting a stick: If you're interested or even thinking about it, there's a deal lasting until tomorrow to get a Mad Catz stick for $80 ($50 off) and free shipping!! http://store.madcatz.com/platforms/xbox360/Mad-Catz-Arcade-FightStick-PRO-for-Xbox360.html Use the code "curleh". These are some great sticks. I picked one up, even though my current one (going on 2 yrs old) is still in great shape. This one is also on the same sale.
