Hey guys I'm not really familiar with fighting games mechanics so I have a question.

You see, I'd love to see all the MvC3 characters being used in competition. But, is it even possible? Could Capcom manage to tweak the game so that all the characters become usable in tournaments? Or will the game always have a handful of useless characters no matter what? Sorry for the ignorance and thanks for replying.

The only character I haven't seen in major tournament play is Arthur (and Jill, but she's a DLC character anyways), I think that's pretty well all things considered.

Tokido got eliminated in the losersbracket and got perfected in the 2nd set by some1 ( I think it was Ramnasas or so, dunno if his name is it)

Wow, really glad I watched that.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

How is that any surprising? There is no competitive scene in Japan, so there is no one to train with. Also, he played BB, Tekken and MvC3 on the same day; so chances for an "early" dropout were higher.

I was surprised because the games I saw he got near perfects. I was more wondering who knocked him out.

Ah, those wins can be deceptive though. And running around, playing different games got to him, I guess. His Tekken matches were pretty hard, so he probably lost a lot of stamina in those.

I believe it was 4-2 WC. Justin Wong, Filipino Champ, and Viscant were all left on the WC side. Floe and Combofiend were the only ones to lose.

Yeah, he said he considered himself the best MvC3 player in Japan, so I assume he was practicing at least semi-seriously. Also, he posted good results at CEO-- guess he just nubbed it up here (which I'm fine with, cause I'm not really a Tokido fan).

From what little I've seen of MvC2, there seems to be a lot more character viability in MvC3

Sure you see a lot of Wolverine, Akuma, Phoenix. But there's also a fair amount of others, only didn't really see Arthur, Captain America and Shuma yesterday and I wasn't even watching the whole time

Low tier but easy to play. I think Alex Valle used him at Evo yesterday, and almost beat clockwork (one of the top west coast players).

Here we go!

Game 1: Wuku versus Severin

Wuku takes first round. Nice back and forth action!

Wuku takes game 1. Got all up in Severin

Severin comes back to win the first round. 1 more round to tie it! He's working wuku

boom! Severin ties it up by taking round 2! Tied 1-1

Wuku switches to Rachelle

Severin takes round 1

Blazblue looks so fun. It's fast like MvC but technical like SF.

It is. It's very challenging too.

Severin closes Wuku out. Questionable switch from Wuku

2-1 Severin. Wuku is out. VERY CLOSE 2ndROUND

We got Moove versus Spark next!

Moove takes first round over Spark
