I think that was to keep everyone in the dark how to solve it, they could have watched the E3 videos and remember how stuff worked. I bet they still have plenty of ideas, but that they just felt it didn't fit into the singleplayer or the co-op. Could be added as dlc in the future  The SP I found length wise just right, my only real complaint is that I found they didn't went 'all out' with the story but that they were a bit shy putting story elements in it. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Caroline could be the daughter of Cave johnson because of few points : - When caroline speak with the microphone, she really seems to speak like a child - You could find a painting with Cave johnson and a old woman on it and GLaDOS just says :" I know this peoples". I don't think that old woman could raelly speak as caroline actually do -Cave johnson loved Caroline ( according to his speaks ) like a father could like her daughter. -GLaDOS talk about johnson like he was a god : " everything he is saying is right " this look like a feminine oedipus complex ( a daughter who love his father ( Actually, all my suposition is based of how i felt the microphonic conversations) With this supposition, the hypothesis about Caroline beeing the Chell's mother could be possible with the timeline that suggested someone here before me. And i agree that the modern aperture science take palce during the 2000's, you can easily find a sentinel's box with the 2010 date on it. | ||
