It's like watching Shaq gain weight and refuse to work on his free throws, squandering a chance to be the GOAT. If Dallas pulls it out, I hope Wade gives LeBron hell. Wade has nothing left to prove as far as I'm concerned...heroic effort tonight. Like I said...Wade has been leaving it on the floor every night. My fav player. But Lebron I've been defending a lot and tonight was just a lost cause. After all the trash talk Dallas has been doing and he's still not going to the basket. THAT is the problem here. He just doesn't seem to have the killer instinct.

Ever since Terry talked shit to Lebron Terry has gotten better and Lebron worse. Would have thought it would be the other way around but apparently not... Stat from ESPN: Dirk Nowitzki has now outscored LeBron James 52-11 in the 4th Qtr this series...including 8-2 tonight.

I just have this one observation, which I hope you guys will look for in the next two games. Watching the way the Mavs' offense operates compared to Miami's tells you volumes about the way the teams function. From my point of view, our points seem a lot more "earned" in a sense, as we have been tending to run set offensive plays to get our points as opposed to Miami's strategy of "give it to Wade or Bosh, or find the totally wide-open guy." I'm not sure how much of that analysis actually has any merit (as I don't really watch basketball much ![]()

It goes without saying that LBJ is doing pretty terribly especially in the fourth quarter, but how does Wade compare to Dirk, seeing as it's supposed to be his "role" of sorts, or whatever they're calling it.

I don't see it but it woudn't be hard to add up if you have a little time. However given that Wade will be much closer to Dirks numbers, the James number matters because he is still hogging the ball a bunch in the 4th quarter. If he just sat and watched and got those numbers it would be one thing, to be involved and still do that is what is killing the Heat.

Both teams run a lot of sets, just that Miami puts the ball in Wade/Lebron hands because they are creators. Jason Kidd is an all time great Point Guard so they don't put it in Dirk's hands. Now what is true is that Dallas's offense is a heck of a lot different than Miami. Dallas's offense is more of "create an open shot" while Miami's is "create an open lane" (simplifying this a lot). Problem is only 1 guy on Miami is following the plan.
