Arenas is going to fit in great with Dwight and all of his new teammates. Jason Richardson has always maintained the production of a all-star shooting guard and has always been a field goals short of being an elite shooting guard. He has really good hustle and clutch play. He plays with tons of heart in every game but especially the playoffs. He is a big part of the Suns run last year and the GSW amazing run earlier. He never really holds on to the ball at all. He has always been a great teammate who helps get the whole team flowing and just seems to motivate others. Very underrated guy and the perfect SG for the construction of a championship team. After moving Rashard and starting Bass they have gotten better by subtraction. Even if they did not trade for Arenas they would have been better off starting Bass this season. He is a very good player to compliment Howard. IMO they have a decent shot at the finals again and can play a series against anyone. | ||

I don't think a team like Miami can match up well against them. In fact the east doesn't really have many teams that can. I'm thinking the only possibilities are Boston (who can match up well against anyone) and maybe Chicago. | ||

That roster is still shaky. Jason Richardson is NOT close to being an All-Star level shooting guard. He's very good, but not that good. We're talking Kobe/Wade/old Brandon Roy levels of dominance here. | ||

My "prediction", I think if both play the way they have this season, heat win on average. The Bucks are awful on offense because as is the story with them for the last 3 years - they are banged up. Heavily. Early in the season when they had Carlos Delfino and Maggette rotating in they could absorb the mystery known as John Salmon's offensive game. When Delfino went down you immediately saw the offense kind of die down, especially with Jennings trying to do everything. Then Maggette starts playing bad, eventually gets hurt and Milwaukee's offense goes down the drain. Milwaukee - always a great defensive team that gets one of the hardest schedules in the league every year and plays good teams well most of the time just to end up injured before February. As for the poll I voted for Miami. Joel Anthony for as much as he has been ridiculed has been worth what they paid him for that defense he brings. If they let him guard Pau and risk Bosh on Bynum I think they have a better shot at winning inside. Back when he was in Chicago and during the playoffs last year, you could rely on him to be a solid 18ppg creating his own shot and knocking down threes to stretch out the opposing defenses. Nowadays.... he drives me crazy in fantasy (he's on my team haha) | ||
