The worst thing is the coach is the one who will get fired and not the players. The lunatics are running the asylum. For those who don't know: Rip, Tayshaun Prince, Tracy McGrady, Ben Wallace and Rodney Stuckey are refusing to play games or practice in protest againt their coach. Detroit only had 6 players to use vs Philly.

I'm not saying it's probable, I'm choosing to believe it despite the odds. Here are the situations I foresee happening in the future and that greatly increase the chances of the Warriors making the playoffs! 1. The Denver Nuggets will tank after they trade Melo This is a given. The sooner Melo leaves the better for both the Warriors and the Nuggets. Yeah the Nuggets are a 7 seed in the playoffs currently, but everybody knows this isn't going to be their year. 2. The Utah Jazz will tank now that their coach has resigned I realize they're on the fringe of the playoffs anyways right now, but I don't foresee them contending now that their headcoach and one of their assistant headcoaches resigned. You don't just replace a Jerry Sloan-type coach mid-season and expect your team to get better. 3. The Warriors trade for Nene from the Nuggets If the Nuggets are going to get rid of Melo, why not move Nene (and his expiring contract) as well? The Nuggets have nothing to gain by holding on to Nene for the rest of the year and everything to lose, as it's extremely unlikely they're going to resign him. I don't know what it would take for the Warriors to get Nene, and I'm not going to play GM, but it seems like an obvious/good move for the Warriors. Of course this is on the condition he resigns with the Warriors. I realize none of this will make the Warriors "OMG AWESOME CONTENDERS FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP", but it should improve them enough at the very least, hang in the playoff picture until the end of the season. If Nene doesn't go to the Warriors, I hope he goes to an Eastern Conference Team so he's not really hurting the Warriors. T_T I take this all back, we are screwed for this year :[

Something seriously bad had to be done to them for it to go this far.

Dismantled a championship contender for no good reason. Miami has no bench...they're going NOWHERE (hey Mr. Bosh, whenever you want to stop acting and hit a 18 footer, the floor is all yours bro). Bulls coming out of the East. mark my words. Agreed that Miami not coming outta the east. I don't see the bulls doing it unless they get Joakim playing 150%. Boston stays healthy and the east is theirs. (easier said then done).

(easier said then done). takes time for chemistry to gel. Noah is still a force in every game and it's only his 2nd one back. he's almost at game shape, but he's still not in the flow of his game; when he starts taking jump shots, that's when everybody will know he's back. Bulls at one point had #1 D without Joakim, so what happens when he gets on track? that's called "bad news for Boston & Miami"
