Minecraft is largely a game about what you can create, and it very much needs a mob that is capable of threatening those creations. Uncontrollable risk is just frustrating. This is what you get with creeper block damage on a multiplayer server because you have no way to protect yourself from other people's stupidity. Ive played on MP servers with no creeper protection and its not fun. | ||

It's the fact that another player can simply lure creepers into your buildings to grief you with zero fear of being banned for it since there's no way to track which player led the creeper there. Creeper block damage is fine if you're playing on a small server with a few close friends, but there ARE quite a few TLers who simply want to ruin the experience for other TLers by griefing. I also think I need to clarify that creeper damage is on. You will die from creepers. It's the block damage that is disabled due to griefing reasons. | ||

Also, my previous comment about server access today... you will need to be using 1.9pre5 in order to connect as there is no 1.9pre6 or 1.0 version of Bukkit yet. | ||
